We don't really want to deal with taking busses to some of our ADRs so we are trying to see if it is worth the money to cab or maybe renting a cheapie car.
We are staying at the CSR and we are going to BOMA, Yachtsman, KONA, Narcoossee's and HDDMR-
so what do you think on the way back we can take busses, but on the way there to save time we would rather something faster-
thanks!

someone here might knpow the website, there is a site where you can put in the addy of the reort and retuarant and it will give you a price. We found they were a couple dollars more than that but close. I found the link on the moms panel.

Our most expensive cab was ASMu to the Poly for $16 and change and the cheapest was from ASSp to the AKL (Boma) for $7 and change. I have heard people say over and over that it is under $20.00 to get anywhere on property.

I would guesstimate that each cab ride will be around $15, including the tip. Going back to CSR via the transportation system will be time-consuming -- bus from your dining resort to a theme park or Downtown Disney and then waiting for a bus there.

A cab ride would definitely take less time back to your resort.

From my personal experience, I would probably rent a car and use it the entire time -- from your resort to the theme parks -- except maybe take the bus to the Magic Kingdom as you would bypass the TTC, but other than that, drive the car to DHS, Epcot, AK, your resort ADRs, etc.

Plus with a car, you can stop and pick up a few groceries for your room, hit the outlet malls, etc.

And I find it very easy to get around WDW with a car. The roads are wel-marked with great signs. It does help if you know that the resort you're looking for -- say Beach Club for Yachtsman is near Epcot or what would be called Epcot Resorts. And if you do happen to miss your "exit" -- no worries, keep driving and you will eventually come to an alternate way to get there. In other words, don't panic! :scared1: You and hubby will do fine. :thumbsup2

I agree on the somewhere around 12-16 bucks for the trips, plus tip. I'm with you on the using a cab to get there, and just doing whatever to get back 'home'. On the HDDR, hopefully they will have busses that just take you back to your hotel.

I'll give the opposite advice. For at least some of the meals you'll be coming directly from a theme park. Transportation from a theme park to a resort is generally pretty good. You might even plan your park days around your ADRs. AK--Boma DHS-Yachtsman MK-Kona as examples

Coming back you'll have to transfer to a theme park (or DTD) and take a second bus. JMO but taking a cab back to your resort and Disney transportation to your ADR makes sense. You might as well rent a car if you're thinking of taking a taxi both directions.
