How much do you spend on... *inspired by the bra thread*

- Bra
My current bras were around $34 each, but I'm going to get custom fitted at Itimacy of Atlanta this weekend because I can't take my bra straps falling off any longer, LOL. I have heard their bras are around $50-$60 each, but if it fits it'll be worth it.

- Panties
I found some that I love at Costco (they are called "It Se Bit Se" by French Dressing for other Costco lovers), and they are $10 for 6 pair.

- Shoes ("real" shoes)
That varies a lot. On average probably about $80 per pair.

- Sneakers/ sport shoes
I can wear children's size tennis shoes, so I save some money there. I only wear Adidas because they work with my flat feet. My last pair was a bargain at $30.

- Jeans
My jeans are Liz Claiborne, but I'm in the market for a new style. I believe they are $55 per pair, but sometimes you can get them on sale.

- (T)shirts
For casual shirts, probably around $40 each. For work, I mostly wear twinsets, and my options are somewhat limited due to my need for petite plus clothes. Due to that, they come from Talbots and are not at all cheap at about $150 or so per twinset. I'm keeping up with Weight Watchers though, so soon hopefully I can save some money there. :)

- Hairdresser
For a hair cut, I spend $50 plus tip. For my highlights it's $145 plus tip. My hair colorist is fabulous though, and since I don't have to go all that often, it's worth it to me. I'd like to take this moment to thank my dad for his early graying gene. :teeth:

- Manicure/ pedicure
I haven't had one in forever, so I'm not sure.

- Vacation (per person)
This varies a lot too. Our smaller vacations are usually $500 each, and our larger vacations are usually $1800 each.

- Bra = depends, sometimes as little as 25 dollars, but others it can be up to 100 dollars
- Panties = i'm nuts about the top matching the bottom, so anywhere from 5-20 dollars
- Shoes ("real" shoes) = Oh I don't even wanna tell :thumbsup2
- Sneakers/ sport shoes = New Balance which cost about 100 dollars... nice tennis sneakers
- Jeans = anywhere from 60-200 dollars, again, depending on company
- (T)shirts = This varies significantly... as little as 5 dollars, and as much as 20 times that
- Hairdresser = under 50 dollars, i just have them cut and condition it.
- Manicure/ pedicure = I actually just go for the hand massages, but i haven't gone in about a year... definitely should go, but i usually manage my own nails
- Vacation (per person) = still go on vacation with my parents, so it's less than 500 dollars for me, and most of that is just spending money

I'm kind of cheap with clothing items. I only buy things on sale or, even better yet, clearance! My favorite stores are Macys, Gap, and NY & Company because you can find really really really cheap things on clearance. :thumbsup2 For example, I only wear Gap jeans (they are the only ones long enough!) and I can usually find them on sale for $29 when they were originally closer to $60.

Also, I have a HUGE wardrobe. I'd rather have a lot of cheaper stuff rather than just a few expensive items.

- Bra $20
- Panties $3-$5
- Shoes ("real" shoes) $20-$35
- Sneakers/ sport shoes $20-$35 (I just bought a really nice pair of Saucony for $25! :teeth: )
- Jeans $20-$30
- (T)shirts $10
- Hairdresser $50
- Manicure/ pedicure $20 (pedicure only)
- Vacation (per person) this depends on where we're going. I tend to be more extravagant on vacations.

Let's see:

- Bra - usually no more than $20. Vanity Fair and Playtex are my favorite brands. They have the best fit for me and I generally get them on sale.

- Panties - I usually wear Jockey cotton bikini and they come in a pack of 3 for $16, regular price. Usually either wait for a sale ($12) or I stop at the Jockey outlet near me where they are anywhere from $3.99-$12 for the 3-pack.

- Shoes ("real" shoes) - usually no more than $15-$20. I am not into expensive shoes.

- Sneakers/ sport shoes - this is the exception. I do a lot of sport/physical activities, so if they are for that - like my marathons - I don't have a limit. I buy what I need. If they are athletic shoes that I'm buying simply to wear with jeans and be stylish, I don't spend much.

- Jeans - no more than $40 per pair. Usually only $20.

- (T)shirts - it varies a lot depending. I don't wear "regular" t-shirts much, I usually wear the ladies fitted tees. Again, it really just varies.

- Hairdresser - $12 for my haircut every few months. I don't do highlights and if I color, I do it myself for $8. I will have to pay about $50 in November for an updo for a wedding.

- Manicure/ pedicure - don't do either. I do my own fingernails/manicure. I don't get pedicures. Nobody touches my feet. I just don't like it. The next person that does will be the embalmer.

- Vacation (per person) - varies depending on where, when, how long, etc!

I  Talbot's, but you're right, quite $$$$$, so I usually only buy from the clearance racks there.

- Bra - VS $40.00
- Panties - Hanky Panky $17.00 (but I've found them for $14.00)
- Shoes ("real" shoes) My real shoes cost about $70.00 on average my most expensive are $120.00
- Sneakers/ sport shoes I haven't bought these in awhile... I imagine $50-$75
- Jeans Ohhh Jeans are my weakness. Jeans are about $200.00 each
- (T)shirts - I tend to buy these from Urban Outfitters and Forever 21 so I'd say $20-$30
- Hairdresser - For cut and color with tip it's about $200.00
- Manicure/ pedicure - I do my own
- Vacation (per person) Vacations depend on who planned them. My hubby thinks we have a money tree and will book the suites and conc. I tend to look for the deals.

- Bra $35 - $45
- Panties $10
- Shoes ("real" shoes) - $70 - $150 (more for boots)
- Sneakers/ sport shoes - $75 - $120
- Jeans - $110 - 175 - I wear a size 0,1 and I'm 5'9, very difficult to find decent jeans, so I splurge and get good ones.
- (T)shirts - like plain t-shirts? I don't think I own those. If you mean any type of normal shirts around $30+
- Hairdresser - For a wash and dry that includes flat ironing, with tip around $50.
- Manicure/ pedicure - Only get my feet done, $30 with tip
- Vacation (per person) - We normally cruise for 10 days - 2 weeks or do a 7 day cruise with 7 days on land, I'd said about $2k average per person, but sometimes we do timeshares, hard to calculate.

- Bra-10-12 at Marshalls,Walmart or Target
- Panties-just got 5 for 6.00 at Walmart, sometimes get 5 for 25 at Victoria Secret if I need nicer ones
- Shoes ("real" shoes)15-25 (usually at DSW outlet or Marshalls)
- Sneakers/ sport shoes 15-25
- Jeans 20.00 (I wait for sales at Old Navy and check outlets)
- (T)shirts 6-10
- Hairdresser 25 (its my sister)
- Manicure/ pedicure 20/20 (I usually get one once or twice a year before we go away and mothers day)
- Vacation (per person) approx 1200/year x 4 of us
I tend to be pretty frugal and am the queen of bargain hunting. I would love to be able to buy clothes at Talbots or other cool stores but I cannot justify the cost so I stick with the low end stores and get a few key pieces at TJ Maxx,Burlington Coat and Marshalls where designer stuff is cheap.

Bra $40.00 or so, and less is better :)
Panties $10 or less
Shoes ("real" shoes) $50 to $80
Sneakers/ sport shoes - upward to $100 or more even. This IMO should be the best shoe you own and you should NOT go cheap, IMO You need the support when exercising.
Boots - over $100 easily
Jeans $30 to $60
(T)shirts $20 tshirt, $50-$80 sweater $20-$60 nicer type shirt (bout the same for a dress shirt)
Hairdresser $60 plus tip for cut and style, more for other things
Manicure/ pedicure - never get these
Vacation (per person) - varies but roughly $1000 per person for the 4 of us

What are Danskos? :confused3

Bra: $40.00 or so. I love VS Body by Victoria, but usually can't get the sale price. The curse of an average size
Panties: $4-5
Shoes ("real" shoes): $30-$50, usually. I have some slightly more expensive stuff for work (logger boots - how sexy!)
Sneakers/ sport shoes: About $50. Dsis manages a sporting goods store, so the discount is good :)

(T)shirts: Usually not more than $15

Unfortunatley to get a good stability or motion control shoe in my size...and my foot shape...in the 2.5 years I have been running, I have had no look. I try on many shoes to find the one that will work.

Hard to explain-but my clearance/discount running shoe days are over.

Those $5 pairs--I'd have the side wall collapsed in one month--provided I don't get shin splints first. :guilty: I have to pay for the structure.

(the photo post was in jest--as the pics the poster was requesting--i'm sure had to do with some items at the top of the list. )

My jeans. I order it through a catalogue, only if they offer discounts

http://www.simone-perele.com/

(I hope this is the right link) Every season, I buy bras from every style, in about every colour. With matching panties. I am addicted to it. But they are so pretty AND comfortable!

http://www.golfino.com

I love their shirts for golf. It's beginning to get another addiction. But not as bad as the bra one.
