It depends on the trip.

We usually go 2-5 times a year.

We usually fly (we've driven twice in the past ten years).

We've always stayed deluxe until we bought DVC.

We've always had annual passes (so we got discounted rooms).

We've spent as little as $3,000 for a week (food - we always eat in real restaurants, even my kids shun fast food or children's menus).

We've spent $20,000+ for a 4daysea/3dayland(adding 2 days) in the Walt Disney Suite on the Magic (back in 1999).

We've spent as much as $45,000 when we bought DVC (hehehe - best thing we ever did!!!).

Now - I'm going down for 5 nights at the end of April, and it's theoretically not costing me anything - have a credit with Southwest - using that for all our tickets. We have annual passes - don't have to lay out that money. DVC is paid for - don't have to lay out that money. And, I have about $600 on my disney rewards card - food!

How can I not go when it's costing me "nothing"?

How many people? (including infants) 6 now but daughter wasn't yet a twinkle on the 6 day trip

How many nights? Sometimes just a day trip, never less than 2 if we stay the night, we like to do 6 nights

Which catagory? (deluxe, moderate, budget, campground, DVC, offsite) Never deluxe since we need two rooms now, we've done moderate mostly, valus last trip and next trip (6 nghts in 1/08) will be FW Cabin (oh- well we might do a deluxe if I can talk dh into going alone for our anniv one yr)

With food,7nights, driving , and tickets we spend 3000-3500 including spending money for a family now of seven. That is staying at a moderate or value but now we can go for even less with the new RV and it will be even less.

I usually spend less than $2000 because we stay offsite at my dads and before my dad moved back to Florida we stayed with my grandma so its always been a little more affordable.

Right now from Arizona it takes a good $200 a person to fly round trip(because wait for Southwest cheapie fares) and then whatever park admission happens to be at the time. With a little for food thrown in we don't usually by a lot of souveiners and my dad and brother got some things for Zoe but we got something atleast(mr. potatohead parts) for her though. We were living there but ended up coming back to Arizona. I'd love to move back but have enough to get a house maybe someday.

We are planning to move to Mississippi which makes us in driving range and we will drive because dh prefers to drive. I can't wait to move and we should be getting our first house if all goes well. The in laws are moving there and we are following.

This trip 3 people, myself, my mother and my DD4. We rent points from DVC members for 5 nights. Usually $600. We bought 2 adult tickets with non-expire that have 4 days left so I only have to buy my DD ticket, figuring $250.Dining plan $400. Airfare $800. Magic Express FREE!! So my runningtotal is $2050+spending money
