How many people? (including infants)
How many nights?
Which catagory? (deluxe, moderate, budget, campground, DVC, offsite)
Disney dining plan or bring your own food, or buy at disney?
Drive or fly?
What type of tickets? (base, hopper, water, no expiration or annual passes)

How much do you spend all inclusive? (all catagories plus spending, pets, car rentals, etc.)

How much do you go? (once a yr., twice a yr., 3x a year, 4x a year, 5xplus a year, every other year, every 3 years, every 4 years, every 5 years, once in a lifetime or you think)

We will be going about once every other year from now on- but this year, it is twice in the same year.

I would love to go once a year, but it is not in our budget with 7 kids. Do you go every year with kids or do you sometimes go without?

once a year, for about 10 days (9 nights) for our family of 5 in a deluxe.

Usually once a year, but dh is getting a little tired of wdw :faint: , so after this next trip probably not for a while

I voted for every three years -- there's many, many, many people here on the Dis that goes on average twice a year. It's amazing how often.

In 2006, we went twice.

In 2007, we're going for 3 week long trips...(just joined DVC!!!)

Would like to go every year at least once. Every other year if not.

I try to go once a year. We get there the most inexpensive way. What ever that is at the time. I try to keep it around 4,000 for 6 of us

How often is a tricky question for me to answer. Dh and I both went once as kids with our respective families. Our first family trip with our kids was Sept 2006. We're planning on going again Sept 2008, but then I don't see us going back for at least 4 years. There's so many other places I want to take the kids on vacation to (including Disneyland), and we can only afford one "bigger" vacation a year.

Sometimes we go two years in a row; sometimes we skip a year. We probably won't be going this year and definitely are going next year.

We've been getting to Disney twice a year for the last three years. I'm not sure the trend will continue because the main reason we've been able to do it is very cheap airfare.

We have two trips planned this year. In June, staying off site and splitting cost of condo with a family member. Here's the breakdown of costs:

Airfare: $350 R/T out of Philly (Me, DS, DD)
Condo: $250
Van rental: $100
DW Tickets: $680
SW Tickets: $165

Total: $1545 for 7 nights.

In December, staying on-site, took advantage of 40% off room rate and booked package w/dining @ AKL 5 nights.

Package Cost: $2155 for 4 (me, DH, DS, DD)
Air: Waiting till Southwest comes out with dates. I feel confident I can find R/T for less than $150 pp.

I'll likely be "cheap" in June as this was an "extra" trip not originally planned but working out because of the cheap air and accomodations. I'm budgeting $1000 spending money over BOTH trips, so whatever doesn't get spent in June will allow me to splurge a bit more in December.

In the end, we'll have spent between $5300-$5600 this year on our Disney fix.

We went in 2005 for the "once in a lifetime' trip to Disney! I was hoping to get back this fall, but it looks like fall of 2008.:sad1:

Disney dining plan or bring your own food, or buy at disney? We eat breakfast in our room and buy all other meals on site. We don't do the DDP, however, because we are more light snack/lunch people. Those sit-down meals take too much time away from touring.
Drive or fly?Drive
What type of tickets? (base, hopper, water, no expiration or annual passes)This year we are going with base tickets to minimize costs as our toddler is now over 3 and our oldest DD10 will be considered an adult.

How much do you spend all inclusive? (all catagories plus spending, pets, car rentals, etc.)We have about $1500 for room, $1000 tickets, $125 per day for food in the parks, each person will have about $100 spending money.

How much do you go? Sometimes on our "off year" we might head down for a weekend trip. We are about 6 hour drive.
