How much do you go? (once a yr., twice a yr., 3x a year, 4x a year, 5xplus a year, every other year, every 3 years, every 4 years, every 5 years, once in a lifetime or you think)

We used to do 2 or 3 night trips, but now that we've done a full week, we won't settle for less than 7 nights. Our next trip will be 8 nights.

We usually drive! About 9 hours! We stay no less than 7 or 8 nights. There is usually 2 adults, and 2 kids, DS17 has gotten to old for family trips to Disney! On our last trip in April, we spent about 3500 for everything!!
This trip coming up for 3 adults, 1 child, and one infant has already cost about 2500 but that has paid for room, tickets, and dining plan.
We have always stayed at a value, because I know once I stay somewhere else I will never go back to the value:rotfl:

Oh, momofkatie, I have a Katie too!!!princess:

How much do you spend on a Disney vacation?

Not sure but with hotel, airfare, parking at the airport, food, I am sure it is close to $4000 if not more

How many people? (including infants)

Well that number has been changing. It used to be just dh & myself (or when he was DBF & not DH). Then we went when our dd was 15 mo so it was 3 of us, then we went in 2005 with dd & ds so it was 4 of us & in 2008 it will be 5 of us but the baby will be under 3. So until they are old enough to not want to go with us (OK is that ever going to happen?) it will be 5 of us.

How many nights?

I like to spend 7 nights. There are 5 park days, 2 travel days & 1 off day but I am thinking of doing 9 or 9 nights next trip.

Which catagory? (deluxe, moderate, budget, campground, DVC, offsite)

A deluxe, I have been spoiled by my parents growing up

Disney dining plan or bring your own food, or buy at disney?

I have never done the dining plan. We bring our own food for breakfast & snacks plus my 3 yo has food allergies so we brought some stuff for him last trip & will do the same when we going 2008. And then we just eat at counter service for the most part.

Drive or fly?

We have always flown. We are debating on driving in 2008 but most likely the ideal of being in the car with 3 kids under between 2 ½ & 7 for close to 20 hours does not sound as fun as going taking the 40 min drive to Hartford, sit in the terminal for about 2 hours looking at planes, get on the plane & arrive in Orlando for our first of many monorail rides in less then 3 hours & then arriving in WDW in an hour or so. Hmmm....

What type of tickets?
(base, hopper, water, no expiration or annual passes)

Park hoppers with no extras.

How much do you spend all inclusive? (all catagories plus spending, pets, car rentals, etc.)

See above.

How much do you go? (once a yr., twice a yr., 3x a year, 4x a year, 5xplus a year, every other year, every 3 years, every 4 years, every 5 years, once in a lifetime or you think)

I am on an every 3 year visit now. I can not justify going every year or more often since I only work 1 day a week.

I voted 2, but it's because we live 4 hours away. We sometimes just go for the day or one night...

$5500-6000, family of four, 2 adults, 2 children 4 & 2 years old. Airfare $1000, off-site hotel for 8 nights- $1600, mini-van rental 350, 5 day base tickets-600, parking at disney-50, breakfast at Crystal Palace-75, breatfast at CRT-100, BBB for daughter and wife- 275, GF Tea Party for daughter & wife-225, spending $ 1000 = roughly 5300 but I'm sure there's something I missed.

2 adults and 1 year old we are spending approx. $2500. that includes hotel at a Value resort ( you are rarely there so why spend so much on an expensive resort unless you have it to spend) 10 day tickets with PH option and No exp. for 2 aduts, and airfare, food and any misc, expenses we want to purhcase. That is for 6 nights as well.:eeyore: :goofy: :smickey:

How much do you spend on a Disney vacation?

I don't wanna think about it... :lmao:

How many people? (including infants) 4

How many nights? In april it'll just be 2 nights, 3 days...Sept & Nov...7 nights.

Which catagory? (deluxe, moderate, budget, campground, DVC, offsite)
Budget in April. Sep & Nov are off-site using our Marriott Vacation Club properties.

Disney dining plan or bring your own food, or buy at disney?
Combo of own & buy/eat out...

Drive or fly?
Most of the time...fly. In November though we'll be driving.

What type of tickets? (base, hopper, water, no expiration or annual passes)
This is the 'year of disney' for us so we purchased annual passes.

How much do you spend all inclusive? (all catagories plus spending, pets, car rentals, etc.)

Again..don't think about that... :rotfl:

How much do you go? (once a yr., twice a yr., 3x a year, 4x a year, 5xplus a year, every other year, every 3 years, every 4 years, every 5 years, once in a lifetime or you think)
Normally, not every year...in the next year (between 4/07-4/08) probably 4-5 times..then not for a while.

For 2 Adults, 2 Kids, we are spending $2303 for our package, which includes:
7 day park hopper plus water parks & more (this was included as a promo in the price of the MYW base)
7 nights at Pop Century
Dining Plan

We are driving as it is only 9 hours for us, and we like having our car there. We will probably spend another $175 on gas, and $ on souveniers and out of pocket food - I'm guessing about $3000 all together. We make saving a family affair - we have given the kids the option of earning 'cash' allowance, or putting money in their Disney fund - they both chose Disney fund! We also have a jar on our kitchen counter that has Mickey stickers and 'Vacation Fund' on it; We put our change in it, and the kids put money in there, too. We have about $100 in there now, and figure it will go towards extras. I also have a Disney Visa card, and paid for some of the trip with reward dollars.

We ALWAYS stay at a Value resort, b/c we are hardly in the room and it is just not that important to us to spend more money on. We are on the every 2 years plan at this point, but who knows what the future will bring!!!

Voted for 8 -- we stayed for 9 days and it was just right -- had some down days to do other than the parks and sleep in, etc.

Don't do less than 7 nights --- I love WDW and it goes by so so so fast. Plus you may want to see MK twice, Epcot -- twice, etc.

I picked 8, which was how many nights my last trip was. But I have done 4 night trips, and my next planned trip will be either 5, 6, or 9 nights. So I am kind of all over the place. :dance3:

I am enjoying all these questions. How about one more question:

What day do you usually arrive at WDW?

I think that would be interesting.
