How much do you put in your vacation fund per week?

I've just started squirreling away $50-$100 /week into our Disney fund. We're not planning on returning until 2012 or 2013 so I should have enough by then for the two of us. We're really focusing on paying off our credit cards this year so that's what all our 'extra' money (such as birthday checks and our possible tax rebate) will go to. I want to be credit card debt free by 2013!

I "donate" $100 every paycheck, so I guess that's roughly $50 per week.

We usually save $50.00 a week. We will put in more if there is a vacation pending and sometimes less if something comes up and there is no vacation pending.

About $150/mo gets put into an ING account. However, most of our vacation money comes from DH's bonus or from tax returns.

I had to go into my bank to see what we do since we do a %... anyways it works out to $111.86 per week. It used to be a bit more but we just increased our 401k and HSA contributions... so the same % is now a bit less. We also put half of our tax refund and half of our profit sharing towards vacations.

it really depends how long we are saving until our vacation AND how much we expect the trip to cost.

$25 a week but I'm about to double it. We also use use tax money, dividends, bonuses etc.I'm also about to graduate from nursing school and take a perdieim job to supplement Disney or dvc purchase.
