How much do you pay to upgrade to DDXP?

I have a question about upgrading from the regular dining plan to the deluxe dining plan. We are going in September so we got the free dining and opted to upgrade but I'm wondering how much a day it is to uprade? I know that to pay full price for the deluxe plan it would be $85.99 per person per day. I can always calculate how much it is by subtracting the room and tickets from my package but I feel like the overall package was more expensive than I was expecting so I wanted to know if anybody knew the exact amount per day it was. Thanks!

I did the upgrade for September, don't know the exact math but about 30$ per day

But here is the info for you from that thread

Regular to Deluxe

Adult non-peak: $33.98 per night
Child non-peak: $8.77 per night

Adult peak: $35.98 per night
Child peak: $9.77 per night

2012 Peak Periods:
February 16 – 25, 2012
March 9 – April 14, 2012
June 1 – August 4, 2012
December 21 – 31, 2012

Hi archdandy,

Definitely call back if you think you got quoted the wrong price. When I called to upgrade from the regular to the Deluxe plan for our Sept trip, the Disney agent quoted me a much higher price than I knew the total should be. When I asked him if he could "check that amount again because that sounds a bit high for the price difference" he realized he had inputted something in wrong on his computer. When he quoted me again, the total was right where I was expecting it to be based on the amounts cruise cruise cruise notes above.

i noticed its about $500+ for 2 adults higher in price
