How much do you pay for a haircut and foil highlights?? Please vote!

not sure, was 110 ish for my cut and full color and wax, DD's cut and a bunch of foils.

Well worth it as my stylist does an amazing job!
I have actually had women stop me to take pictures of my hair with their cellphones, a woman stopped me on top of the mountain to have me turn in a circle so she could check out my hair(that was a little embarrassing as people had to go around us!) and a cute teenage boy said "wow cool hair"--which at 40 makes you feel like a million dollars when you get compliments from people you don't know!
I know I'm bragging but its the one thing I have thanks to my stylist!!

I have an awesome hair stylist! My friend met her in Nordstrom one day and went up to her to ask her where she got her hair done. (We're both very picky about our blonde...we don't like it looking too bleach blonde or fake.) My full highlights usually run me somewhere around $90. One way I save money is that I don't get my hair styled at the end. She just blows it dry but doesn't style it for me.

I paid $36 for my last foil highlight, and it looks fabulous. The rest I gave to my hairdresser as a cash Christmas gift. She runs that special every Christmas.

I pay $25 for the haircut and $75 for the foils at my salon.

A good friend of mine owns his own fancy shamacy salon. No matter what I get done, color, cut, foils he always charges me $35.

I paid $103 for my daughter to have a partial foil, wash and cut, no blow dry. I paid $75 for me to have a partial, wash cut and blow dry. My daughter does have long, thick hair though.

I had a cut, color and foil highlights in one color last month and paid $225!!!! Mind you, I´m in Iceland and everything is expensive here. I went to a Tony & Guy saloon and they´re not the cheapest either.

Three weeks ago same salon I mentioned back in January, two color foil, shampoo, cut & blow dry was $165 without tip.

It's funny to see this old thread of mine back on Page 1 since I just had foils done last week! LOL Same charge, $75, except I didn't get it cut last week but she did cut it the week before when I got a body wave ($65 for the cut and body wave).

Looking at this poll I think I get a great price!

P.S. She ALWAYS washes, blow dries, and styles my hair, and there's no extra charge for that.

Yes you can....it's called "photoshop" .....


I don't pay anything....don't hilite my hair and my best friend and I went to beauty school (ugh! sounds so 'dated') together....we don't work together, but she cuts my hair for free (or whatever amount of cash I stuff in her pocket or down her shirt so she can at least have lunch on me )

I think you got a pretty good deal I pay about $95. That included, shampoo, foils (2 different colors and then all over color on any hair that is sticking out of the foils), cut and blow dry.
