Hey everyone :) I have a few questions that I know one of you will be able to help me with.

--Do the wedding minimums increase every year? I know that now the minimum for a wishes wedding is $10,000.

--Do the prices for dinner per person increase every year?

--I saw that there are different "seasons" depending on what time of year your wedding is. I see that the minimums increase, do the per plate prices increase?

ok so those are the questions that come to mind at this moment lol i would appreciate any input that you all have!

Thanks :flower3:

Historically the minimum overall expenditure has not increased every year. For example, it has been $10,000 for at least two years now, and when Disney's fiscal year 2009 started a few weeks ago it did not change. (Which is not to say that it won't, but.... seems like they woulda done it then if they were gonna! ;) )

The same is true of the minimum per person food and beverage expenditure - it doesn't automatically increase every year. Also, to answer your third question, it is not tied to seasons/days of the week the way the minimum overall expenditure is. It is tied to where and what time of day you have your reception. (It goes up by $25 at Grand Floridian locations.)

Hope this helps!

They do go up a bit each October but not an outrageous amount.

Our planning session was in May so we got an updated BEO a few weeks ago. Bar prices did not go up, our welcome dinner at the California grill increased by 1$ per person, the children's meal for the welcome dinner did not increase, the pre-reception hors dourves when up by 0.5$ per person, the cheese display did not change, the filet/lobster duo increased by 4$ per person (interestingly the salmon price did not go up), and the children's meal at the reception increased by 3$.

Those increases were actually less than what we were expecting.

I just got a new BEO from my planner because the dinner prices increased but it was so little that I didn't even notice a difference.

So since the fiscal year just started .. my wedding is in july will those prices that they are using now be right? like since we have our ps in december those prices will be the ones used??

The minimums will all be the same, and the menu prices will be the same, but other things - like location fees, transportation costs, viewing fees - could change at any time. They will lock prices in for you 6 months before your wedding. :thumbsup2
