Two adults 1 child and 1 infant. Staying for two and half days.

So two table service meals,
Drinks in parks and drinks on evening :cool1:
Authograph books x 2 with pens

Then the normal souvenirs of photo albums, cups, pj's for DD.

I was thinking roughly €500, would that be sufficient

working it out roughly in my head that sounds like loads.food is where most of my money goes

I also have a question about this if you don't mind me jumping in...

5 people, 2 days. Taking E500 for food and on ride photo's (snacks for lunch - both days - and meal on second day only) but also E150 for souvenirs.

I know it sounds like alot but we were told that DLRP is so expensive, we wont be coming home with much left over. Is this going to be correct?

so you are taking 650 euros for five people for two days? unless you plan on blowing a lot of that on merchandise i would say you would come home with loads. a counter service meal for five adults would be say 60 euros. depending on where you want to eat a table service meal will cost you anything from 100 euros to 300 euros for five adults. where are you planning on eating your table service meal?

Wish I had your budgets.4 nights in the park for 2 adults and 2 kids and I've managed to save about £350 to spend on food..... although kids have £40 each to spend and 20 pins to trade. La Grange and Agrabah .... plus two counter meals... and cereal bars for Lunch for us. This time next week and my girls will have danced on stage in disney!!!!

^ Honestly lol - the budget isn't that big. Had to take a coach trip and only 2 days at Santa Fe in order to save money and to add more to spending money because everyone we have spoken too said that E650 still wont be enough as they spent an absolute fortune on their trips over the years.

As for where we plan on eating - we are not actually decided. My Mam is under the impression by being told by others that planning anything does not work because queues are too long and restaurants are too busy to plan for certain times. So we are going by the 'take it as it come' routine - not my cup of tea to be honest (I would rather plan our trip the best possible).

if you are going at a time when the restaurants will be busy then it would be better to make a reservation.

honestly you will bring back loads of money. i bring maybe 900 euros for six days for one adult and one child, i have to pay 100 euros for the taxi from the airport and back again. i have six counter service meals.i buy the various stuff a girly three year old will want in dlp and i still come back with loads left over, last time i had over 500 euros left.

How much do I generally take?.....As little as possible because I know it would probably be spent!!!:scared1::laughing: I have a large family so always buy the meal vouchers because as has already been mentioned most of the budget [we find] goes on our meals. That way i don't have to worry about finances when in DLRP. However 500euros sounds more than enough.....and there are good value buffet meals :thumbsup2.

I think it really depends. I took 200E for just me and found I had run out of money by the last day (4 days) and needed a little bit more. :rolleyes1
I didn't buy that much either, 1photo, 1plush(a 15E one), and a couple of pins.

Therefore, I really don't see 650E for five of you as being too much. I'd rather have too much than too little!;)

TBH, in all my trips to Disney I have never planned anything. At most we have decided on where to eat that day & made a booking in the morning. I know everyone is different but I like to decide as I go along:thumbsup2

my wife and i were wondering this exact question. as we have never been before we have no idea how things are priced. so for our 5 day break in sept we are taking about 700euros. if we come back with some then fab.

We're going again in late November and have around E1000 to take. four nights, five days, 2 adults, one child, one infant (infant is a 2 year old with a bigger appitite than me!):goodvibes

To me this seems like a huge amount but DH has insisted he'd rather come home with some than run out of money :)

WE are two aduls and two children in our house and we tend to budget £150 a day. This covers our meals (we do table service with wine) and the souvenirs while we are there. We often stick to that sort of budget.

A table service can cost between €19 to €90 per person dependent on restaurant. A counter service is between €9 and €20.

Popcorn is €7 and a coke is €2.20 - €3.50 dependent on where.

Pins are about €6.95. T shirts and hats between €15 - €30.

Hope that helps.

dunno how me and bf spent so much money then!.......we had half board vouchers already paid for so thats 200EU... in 5 days we spent 500 euro and that was just having drinks, counter service if we were hungry between the main meal and a short trip into paris (cost about 60 eu altogether) we found it SO expensive and could easily have spent 1000euro! 13/14EU for 1 cocktail....3 each in one evening thats 100eu gone.

Were staying 4 days and im planning on taking £600 whatever that converts too in euro. My meals are paid, half board premier. Money to pay for our transfer, lunch/snacks and souvieners, oh and some yummy cocktails:cool1:

Seems loads of cash but ive heard its really expensive so id rather go with too much than not enough.
