How much do Mickey Bars cost? And the other "small" must-have purchases?

Ok, my budget's pretty well in place for our December trip....on the BIG things, that is.

But I have NO IDEA how to budget for the smaller, impulse items. I want to buy my kids some of this kind of stuff, but don't want to go overboard.

I suppose how MUCH I'll allow depends on what the price is.

So please, can you tell me what the price is on all the neat snacks & souvenirs you love at WDW?

Especially:

:mickeybar ~ Mickey Bars
:mickeybar ~ Dole Whips
:mickeybar ~ Photos that they take of you in front of castle, rides, etc.
:mickeybar ~ Disney pins
:mickeybar ~ Mickey ears
:mickeybar ~ anything you love and always buy

I don't want to get down there and be shocked at coming up short in the "incidentials" money budget.

THANKS!!!

Christmas ornament- my favorite-$8-12

I know this isn't exactly what you were asking, but I thought I'd offer some insight on how to deal with these things...

We, too, didn't want to be on such a tight budget that we couldn't buy impulsive things. Like the above poster mentioned, the prices are pretty reasonable for these items - but you have a few kids like us, and stop a couple times a day, and it adds up.

So, we did Disney Dollars for impulses. (Both for us and the kids). When we passed the Dole Whip stand, we had just eaten lunch and weren't hungry at all - so we decided to share one just to get the taste of it and see what it was all about :) Next time - I'm TOTALLY having Dole Whip FOR LUNCH! LOL :)

Seriously, though - decide what you want the kids to spend each day on impulses (Or what you as a family want to spend) then let them decide what they really want to spend it on. My kids would want mickey bars above all else and weren't into pins at all once we got down there (DD wore one tinkerbell pin on her jacket that I'd purchased ahead of time to trade, but she never really remembered she could do that and we were so busy finding characters and riding rides) :)

Oh - and as for the Castle Photos - we took them ourselves. They have a little cutout near the castle that you can stand by and heck, even passersby will take the picture if you want to be in it - or you can take it of the kids :)

I budget $10 per person, per day for 'snacks', not meals just those extra snacks, dole whip's etc... Most days we don't use use the $10 each. I use the envelope system, I have the snack money in an envelope for each day. Whatever $$ is leftover each day goes into the "Extra" envelope that is then used on the last day for any additional meals/souvenoirs that we didn't plan on.

If we don't spend it all itgoes into the savings account for the next trip. I would rather over-budget than be counting my pennies each day, it's much less stressful for me. .
