How much do I need to plan

OK, I am a compulsive planner, or I WAS when my girls were smaller. We have done the disney thing 10 or so times.

I was hoping that this trip (first without husband who passed away in Dec) could be a little more "seat of your pants" kind of thing. We just need to get away. It will b me and 2 DD 12, and 15.

But as it is getting closer I am beginning to worry. We are going at the height of Spring Break. What kind of things do I need to plan for.

I have tickets for Blue Man Group
I have VIP tour tickets for Sea World
I have reservations for Mythos.
I have a general idea of which park which day.

Do I need to go ahead and make reservations for the restaurants we really want to go to. Staying onsite, so hoping dining will b a bit easier.

Thanks in advance:goodvibes

Nope. You've got it covered. There is no need for planning, just get up early be there at least 30 minutes before posted times. Use the room key to your advantage, and get early access to Harry Potter.
Depending on when you're going, you should be able to make reservations the day of your trip at places you want to eat. It's not disney, you can actually enjoy yourself.

I'm so sorry for your loss and hope this trip finds some moments to smile for you and your girls.

My son and I visited from Dec. 18-23 and I would say with what you have arranged already and staying on-site, that you will be AOK to get there and roll with it.

As we got closer to Christmas, the crowds seemed enormous and almost overwhelming just walking around, but staying at HRH and using the Express Pass, we never waited over a few minutes for any ride other RRR and FJ. We would go to US at opening and get a couple of RRR rides in. We actually only got up early one time for HP, we were much more successful going the last hour it was open and getting in more than everything we wanted to do, but this may have had to do with the fact that it was pretty darn chilly. Maybe people linger longer when it's warmer?:confused3

Other than Mythos, I made dinner reservations when I got there and had no problem at all going everywhere we wanted. But if it makes you feel better to make reservations - make 'em! Think you'll be fine waiting until you get there, but do whatever makes you rest easier and frees up any anxiety to spend that time enjoying the trip.
