I just booked our January 2014 flights. I was looking at how many points I have with JetBlue and I was less than 1000 points from earning a one way flight.

I did the math and it was $37 (including tax) to buy 1000 points or $104 for the flight its self. I bought the points and booked my flight with them saving $67. So including the $75 DH and I had in our JetBlue travel bank from the last time we went and I found the same flight fare cheaper and maxing out my points I just saved us $142 in airfare!

Thanks!

This is on top of the week of free timeshare we got a voucher for so the resort is free for the week and we got an upgrade to a one bedroom.

I just need to see the car rental prices come down and I am going to be one happy girl!

That's one reason I LOVE jetBlue, too. If you find the fare lower, they'll credit your account. I had the same thing happen on an American Airline flight and I had to fight with them to credit my account for the difference in fares. LOVE jetBlue. I'm flying on them next week.

I've not paid full price for a flight in about 3 years. Not to mention they will credit your points back too if the price goes down....best airline ever!

I just booked a car rental through Carrentalsavers.com and booked a Dollar Car rental for Nov. 7 through the 12th for only $131.00. (Dodge Avenger or similar) That is by far the best price I've found, saving at least $100.00.

Keep checking. The prices fluctuate daily.

Oh I'm not worried. I know I'll do better the closer it gets. This might be my best deals yet.
