How Much Did it Cost to Fill Up Your Gas Tank?

I stop at $50. I just can't bring myself to put over $50 in the tank right now.

DH just paid $75 to fill up the Grand Caravan last night. Now he wont turn the ac on it. Says it burns too much gas.

Both my wife and I filled up our vehicles on Tuesday. Her bill was $68 for a mid-size SUV, and my bill for a Toyota Corolla was $51! $119 for gas in one day!!!! So, what did you pay??

Well, I can't even fill up my gas tank. The gas stations have a $75.00 cut off at the pumps, so I can onlt get 3/4 a tank most of the time. So... I have no idea how much it would be to "fill" up, because I can't!

$123 to fill the conversion van last week. Yikes. And we're going to tow the camper this summer and I'm truly frightened about the cost of gas for that trip.

Hubby took the grand am to virginia this week instead of his mountaineer. He said it will save us about $250 a month.

$75 to fill up DW's Avalanche the other day(at 3.39 a gallon thanks to Weis Market shopping/discount program). Thank goodness I do my monster commute in the family Civic. Can't recall what that's costing these days.

My husband and I went on Sunday to fill up. I was at a little more than a 1/4 of a tank and he was at 1/4 of a tank. For me I drive a Ford Explorer and it was $57.00 and he has a Ford F150 and it was $61.00. This was at 3.85 a gallon.

When we drive the Suburban it is about $130.00 when it is on empty. I am driving it less now and even the Mailbu takes about $55.00 to fill (only 14 gallons compared to 33 in the suburban) gas in the western suburbs of Chicago is about $4.09.

Our debit card shuts off at $50 if used at the pump. We have them run it a second time, or go inside and pay.

I filled up my van yesterday and it was $126.00!

I filled our Focus up earlier in the week and that was $46.00! When we first bought it in '00, it was about $17.00 a tank!

I own a 05 Kia Sorento and after fearing I would run out of gas since the gas light had been on for 3 days in a heat wave (gas evaporates), I pulled into the gas station seeing my stimulus check was in my account and decided to fill up. Haven't done that in a while, $30 here and there. When it stopped it was at $72.51 . I wrote down my mileage and I'm keeping a log on where I go. I am going to let that last for at least 3 weeks.

Just imagine, I'm about to drive to WDW in a few weeks.

Theoretically, it would cost about $60 to fill my 15-gal tank and about $40 to fill DH's 10-gallon tank. But what are you going to do? You need gas where we live, so that's that. You just pay it and try not to be too wasteful (something I have always been taught to do, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG before prices started going up.

We usually fill it after it is 1/4 empty, so it's not such a harsh blow.

... I filled up a week+ ago and thst was 62.00 for 14 gallons in my 05 camry now we are at 4.17 a gallon but I won't need gas for at least another week so that will be a 70+ I'm sure then!!
