How Much Did I Pay For This Self Inflicted Fun? A Wigdout trip report.

(I can't find a begging smiley, what's up with that?)

Here's one for ya!

Wigd - I knew I was going to regret not logging back on last night! I had five pages, 2 updates & the big announcement to catch up on!

Congrats on your Spring Break trip - I just knew you were going to get one :thumbsup2

What a cute puppy! Good luck on those first few nights! It must have been very tough losing your pets. Such sad times...Riley was hard to loose but I had a lot of guilt to deal with for Hailey as I wasn't holding on to her when she dashed out onto the road....a very hard lesson learned.
Wow, muskrat, was it stringy?it wasn't stringy but it was greasy...edible but not something I would choose to try again. I am not really sure that I could describe the taste it was unique.
Well, Because we are going back at spring break, just Shocker and I!
Staying at Boardwalk in a 1br villa!
Yay you get a spring break trip!:cool1:

Hooray on a Spring Break Trip! I can't wait until the day that my husband and I can go on vacation alone. These days we can barely go to the movies! :)

I didn't check in for a day and a half or two days and was 8 pages behind! Can't wait to read Shocker's PTR though.

Well Santa DOES come to Villa 303! He even was thoughtful enough to use Mickey Mouse wrapping paper....:rolleyes1

Probably will hit Christmas day NEXT week! Have two more days to get through, with one posting today! :)

Can't wait to hear how you pulled this off!! I am planning my Christmas trip already for this year!! I am thinking about shopping early and maybe ship "Santa" to the resort. :confused3 I can't wait to see how you did it.

Love bubble bath boy!!

We talked about buying DVC - almost did on our first Disney cruise, but decided we were having too much fun resort hopping and we have been getting such good deals on resorts lately. We might still try to rent points for some trips as the girls get bigger and need a little more room.

Looking forward to more of your trip and Shocker's PTR!!

Welcome! I love having another teacher on board. So many times we have our little education discussions over here! I think you will enjoy your Kidani stay and an epcot resort at Christmas will be perfect. I'm hoping for Beach Club next Christmas. We really should book it in a couple of weeks since it's one of our home resorts.

I could use a good teacher discussion. I worked on National Board Certification last year and I missed by only 10 points!
We want to add on more points, but we just bought our first set this summer! Our home is SSR. I guess based on what you wrote to someone else, we need to consider use year when we purchase more :)

Hope you had a good Sunday. Off to do lesson plans!

I wish I had counted how many times I reminded myself ....
I'm in Disney.
I love it here.
It's beautiful.
Most of the group are having the time of their lives.....
:cutie:

I can relate sooo much to this part of your intro! It's exactly the mentality I had on our Christmas season trip (I think our dates may have even overlapped)! I read the first 47 pages of this TR last night, and now see that you're up to 49 pages, so I guess I have more catching up to do.

Oh, and I'm also a teacher. :)

Wigd!

I can't wait to read more about your trip! Work has kept me busy lately, but I didn't want to miss your TR! :dance3:

Those were some great buys! Loved the updates. Everyone was happy then...Hurray a new trip.

Congrats on your newest trip...:woohoo:

WOW you really are quite the shopper...:lmao:...love all the international characters...it looks like they have they for every country? so cute...

I need some of that toffee...major toffee fan here...:thumbsup2...there is a candy story in Frontierland?

love the rings (hmmm...need to check those out too...) and the keys chains and the shirts...(Emily is a major shopper...she tells me it makes her happy...and it doesn't just have to be clothes...toiletries, books, staples...it gives her a little lift...:yay:)

I'm sorry you had to wait around for your room...isn't it funny how sometimes they just have it ready and other times...:confused3 and this is one of those times you could have used it...you go girl and straighten that room situation out...;)

Baylor looks so cute in that tub...and in a couple of years he is going to kill you for taking that photo...:lmao: enjoy it now...:rotfl:
popcorn::

I forgot to mention I saw one of the hoodies I want to get WOOT!! Thanks Anita!!!! I can pre-browse on your TR!!!!

Well back to the KU game I just thought I would stop in and say that!!! This is one of the few games I get to watch so don't want to miss out LOL!!!!

Anita I've been researching DVC and have two questions: Does it matter where you buy? Do members get to book earlier at their home resort?

TIA :goodvibes

I'm not Anita, but since I can answer and I'm here... (hope you don't mind! :) )

DVC members can book their home resort 11 months prior to check-in, and at other DVC resorts 7 months prior to check-in. If you plan to use your membership during peak periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc), then you should definitely buy at your preferred resort. If you travel mostly during the off-season, it doesn't matter as much - our guide told us he'd never had anyone have serious problems getting the rooms they want in the off-season... they might have to wait-list, but wait-lists almost always come through, except in peak season.

Thanks for the info. So, if I buy, I better make sure that's where I really want to be.

Every other year when we went in May we caught the flower and garden fetival. This year we miss it by one weekend.:sad2: So pleeeaaaase take lots and lots of pictures. (I can't find a begging smiley, what's up with that?) :confused3 :rotfl:
The first few years we always went during flower and garden, then the first time when we went and epcot wasn't all dressed up I just couldn't believe it! We have seen it each year since 2006, I'd be really sad if we had to miss it! Shocker has a new camera so we will have double pictures and Baylor will be along with his new flip video, so that will provide some interesting entertainment!
You really can't guess??? :lmao:
I have a good idea but then I thought what if they have some super incentive....
Oh, (I swear I have AADD:rolleyes1) I was going to ask, are the tiles in the bath scenes from The Lion King or scenes from Africa? They kind of remind me of The Lion King.

I was thinking Lion King.

Very cute smiley, Michelle!
Shocker surprised me, I really didn't think we would be going and then all of a sudden he said OK....
He can explain the details when he gets his PTR started....
Yay you get a spring break trip!:cool1:
:woohoo: I'm a happy gal!
Can't wait to hear how you pulled this off!! I am planning my Christmas trip already for this year!! I am thinking about shopping early and maybe ship "Santa" to the resort. :confused3 I can't wait to see how you did it.
Have you told me your dates? My head is swimming....
Love bubble bath boy!!

Any time Baylor is in a jet tub with liquid soap, look out!
We rented points, it's a great way to go! Plus if you are thinking of buying DVC you can check out the resorts.

I haven't looked into the national program, I just have my Kansas certification. YES! If you add on, make sure your use year (or month) matches up. We love The Timeshare Store. You can get so much more for your money by buying resale!

Oh, and I'm also a teacher. :)
Welcome Michelle! What do you teach? I love all of my DIS friends but yes there are lots of us involved in education around here! Moms,
preschool teachers, teachers, principals, basically anyone with kids! Where did you stay and what were your dates?

Maybe a teacher "field trip" is in order!
Wouldn't that be fun? How about an "Educator's Conference"?
Wigd!

I can't wait to read more about your trip! Work has kept me busy lately, but I didn't want to miss your TR! :dance3:
Hi FF! How have you been? Long, long time, no see!
Those were some great buys! Loved the updates. Everyone was happy then...Hurray a new trip.
Yes, we are still in the happy part of the trip.....
I think it lasted a bit longer.....
Can you believe it? A new ticker!!

Congrats on your newest trip...:woohoo:
Thanks Patricia!

WOW you really are quite the shopper...:lmao:...love all the international characters...it looks like they have they for every country? so cute...
I came home and found the Japanese and China guys on ebay, none for Africa or Morocco....
I'd love to find a Belly dancing Minnie!
:goodvibes

I need some of that toffee...major toffee fan here...:thumbsup2...there is a candy story in Frontierland?
Yes, it's the General Store, I've always just passed it by....

love the rings (hmmm...need to check those out too...) and the keys chains and the shirts...(Emily is a major shopper...she tells me it makes her happy...and it doesn't just have to be clothes...toiletries, books, staples...it gives her a little lift...:yay:)
You and Emily must stop off in Italy for some fun just trying on the rings. They are on the counter in the shop right on the corner. We had so much fun. We were in there for the longest time just trying them on....
I promise you, a great time, not to be missed!

I'm sorry you had to wait around for your room...isn't it funny how sometimes they just have it ready and other times...:confused3 and this is one of those times you could have used it...you go girl and straighten that room situation out...;)
I felt really bad for Megan, she was so sick, and I things were just not going as I had planned either, but I knew that I had to be flexible with such a big group so I took a deep breath and went with the flow..... well until I was unhappy with that villa....

Baylor looks so cute in that tub...and in a couple of years he is going to kill you for taking that photo...:lmao: enjoy it now...:rotfl:

Bwaaahahahahaha!
He screeched when he saw that and ran around the room laughing..... what a dork!

I forgot to mention I saw one of the hoodies I want to get WOOT!! Thanks Anita!!!! I can pre-browse on your TR!!!!

Oh good, I'm glad you get to go Disney shopping next week!
Can you believe those Jayhawks?
:sad2:

I'm hoping for a wait list July 4 and 5 at BLT.... good luck huh?
Yay for a new trip :cool1:

Baylor looks so cute in that tub :goodvibes

Super excited for Spring Break! Hope it warms up!
Can't trust that boy in a jet tub!
Lucky the bubbles weren't on the floor!
