How much $$ deposit do you need to put down in order to reserve for ceremony date for an Escape package? & how early in advance can you call to reserve your date?

Also, if you put down a deposit and then the rates go up, will you have to pay the increased rates or are you grandfathered into the rate quoted when you reserve it?

Thanks! :goodvibes

It is 8 months out that you can reserve you're location and date but give them a call before hand (I think I was told about 2 weeks) and they will pencil you in and call you back on the date to tell you if you got you're date, time and location

I think my deposit was $750 and I would think that you would pay any increased charges...unless you sign a contract before the prices increase, then it will be what price you signed for that you are contracted too.

You can sign a contract at 12 months for all the outdoor locations (except right now it's 8 months for Sunset Pointe, but that's temporary).

You pay the price that's in place when you sign your contract, no matter what happens after that. The deposit is $750.

Thanks!

$750 is less scary than I thought:thumbsup2 Is there an additional base deposit due at the same time if you want an MK photo shoot?

& how close to the magical day is the rest of the $$ due by?

The rest of your money is due 30 days before the wedding. And you don't need to make a deposit on the MK shoot - it's added to the final bill.

If you want to make payments before 30 days you can, but I suggest putting the money in a high-yield online savings account instead! :thumbsup2

I saw somewhere on here that the escape deposits are going to go up....OH wait maybe it was the price is going up...I wonder if the deposit will go up too?

Yeah, we're taking that into consideration with our budget :guilty:
and I don't even think they are adding anything to the package to justify the increase:sad2: At least they added annual passes the last time they increased the price.

Prices have been locked in place for all of 2009 at $4,500/$5,500 for the package and $750 for the deposit.

We won't know about 2010 til spring of next year...
