How much cash???

We're a family of 2 adults and a child 5 , trying to figure how much cash we really need? We are staying in a Disney resort for 9 days and want as much on plastic as we can. I figure outside of any tips (maid, bus drivers, airport meals and such, etc.) there can't be much that is necessary cash is there?

I understand also that some food carts are cash only, but with the DDP most of our meals are covered and tips can be charged to the room as well as all other restaurants.

Am I missing something??

I'd plan on $30-40/day. I don't think any of the carts or street vendors take plastic. It's amazing how fast it dribbles away at WDW.

We have actually done a full WDW vacation without any cash. Used DME, let Disney get our luggage to the room, tipped for meals on our KTTW card and stayed away from the carts that didn't take the KTTW card or a debit card. We don't usually tip mousekeeping unless they go above and beyond or do something extra special.

So it is really up to you as far as how much cash you think you will need.
