How much can you expect to accomplish during the Halloween Party?

I'm debating on weather or not we should go? We went to DLR in May with park hoppers but if we go to Halloween Party we will not get park hoppers and our only time spent at DL will be during the party. The other day and a half will be at DCA getting to experience Carsland!

If we get to DL at 4pm on the night of the party, what should we expect?

We want to see SM and HM's overlays!

I missed out on Indy in May but I would ride it singlerider.

Matterhorn was down, so we want to do that!

POTC and Stars tours are my son's favorite rides, so we have to do those also!

Can we catch all those rides plus the ranch and the parade and characters and fireworks during the party? It is on Fri, Oct 19th. Do I have enough time to accomplish this or is this a bit overambitious since there are no Fast Passes available?

See, though they may be gone. If you can get a Space GG or HMH FP. FP doesn't work during the party, but if you are lucky can get one to use before it starts. It's a bit of a toss up but I would suggest Space for the FP and suck it and do HMH stand by. During the parties doing the other rides should be easy, as most people do the party only things.

Also see the characters before hand, the lines for the villians back by Small World can get bad during the party but they are out all day. During the party many regular characters will be in costume and there may be some other characters only out during the party.

Do the ranch in the evening when the park is busiest because it is basically a walk through exhibit.

You will want a good seat in the hub or on Main Street to see the fireworks and so many people wait for the parade and stay in this area that you may want to do the same to make sure you have a good firework view.

It does help a bit because a lot of people will go watch the parade. But,
your main problem with watching fireworks and then the second parade, is the good views will be taken by the people who watched the first parade.

Just so you are aware if you can get a FP at 4 you need to use it by the start of the party at 7.

I always go straight for the rides first. When the party starts everyone is to busy trick or treating. I do the rides first then trick or treat last. On my way to rides, if there's a trick or treat station I'll hit it up if the line isn't too long (especially the trick or treat stop on the bridge behind Big Thunder Mountain)
