We just recently decided to get Busch Gardens Platinum Passports, we are going to Williamsburg this summer. Well we are also going to Disney and with getting these passports we decided to hop over to Sea World for a day. We could not fit it in our schedule except on the first day.

Our flight arrives in Orlando at 10:37 am. Since more than likely our room will not be ready, we decided to store our luggage and go over to Sea World at about 12:30 pm. Is this a good idea? Will be able to see/do anything? We've never been to Sea World.

Thanks for any advice and help.

U should see quite a bit and it beats waiting on a room getting ready:jester:

You'll definitely be able to see the most important stuff, and besides, Sea World, even for just a few hours is completely worth going to. It's really a wonderful, special place. You'll have time to go to some of the shows, and stuff. You probably won't be able to see them all, but you'll see quite a bit.

We have done exactly that in the past and it worked out fine.

Thanks for asking this. We will be arriving on a Weds in June around 9:30am, plan to drop the luggage off and head to SW also. I have been worried about this and have gone back and forth as to whether we should or shouldn't. This is our 2nd trip and I've told the kids we'll hit the couple favorite things and then concentrate on the stuff we've not done before. Thanks again for the advise.

Thanks for the feed back. I think we will enjoy ourselves instead of just killing time waiting for our room.

..That if you're not going to get to SW early than wait until 3pm and stay until closing. We're going to go to SW 7/2. I know this is the holiday weekend so will I be sorry if I follow this plan?

I seem to remember reading that also in the Unofficial Guide to other Orlando attractions. But I also read in the Unofficial Guide to WDW that is says it's great to arrive anytime.

So I'm just gonna go and see whatever we will be able to see. It's an added bonus for us just being able to go because we had not initially planned on going to Sea World.:D

You'll see alot. Arrive to each show about 20 minutes early and you're in. You get to ride the sky tower for free which is fun. Best time to feed the dolphins is from 3pm to 5pm. The lines for JTA and Kraken will drop as the tired leave late in the afternoon. If I arrived in the afternoon after traveling, I'd head straight to the hospitality center in the back of the park for a couple beer samples. Then I'd continue with a beer at Voyagers (wood oven pizza) next to the sky tower, then another in the Key West area feeding the dolphins. Party, party, party.
