Thought a thread could be used to see what kind of rates people are paying for when flying to Orlando. Please do not include frequent flyer but actual cost out of pocket for your airfare.

Please list the price, date, airline and where you're flying out of as this might be helpful in budgeting. Thanks.

Flying non stop from Syracuse, NY to Orlando return. $270 pp. In October. Jetblue

We are paying $260 round trip from NY JFK in May and the same for Southwest from Long Island McArthur Airport in June.

Looking at costs from either airport for August, but looks like we may have to drive or take the Auto Train!

$278 per person Chicago, Midway to Orlando in August on SW. 7 total. Some are flying on points some are cash but I thought the cash price was decent given recent airfare prices.

$294 non-stop on SWA: MKE to TPA for 4/13 -4/19/14.

We booked October 13, 2013---so 6 months out. I check the price a couple times a week and the price only dropped a few dollars and wasn't worth re-booking, that was in January.

For April, Palm Sunday to Easter Monday, we are flying non-stop from LGA to TPA. We booked back in July of 2013 on JetBlue and are paying $284 RT per person.

For August, 8/19 - 8/25, we are flying non-stop from ISP to TPA. We booked as soon as Southwest's fares were released and are paying $218 RT per person.

In both cases, flying to TPA resulted in a substantial savings for our party of three. We always rent a car, but even if we calculated that cost, it would still represent a savings versus flying to MCO.

$1340 for 5 people delta airlines, Boston to Orlando round trip non stop both ways. Early arrival & late departure.

$274.00 round trip nonstop from Dallas.
DFW to MCO 3/21/14 and MCO to DFW 3/31/14

Spirit Airlines Atlantic City to MCO (non-stop) 5/24-5/31 (Memorial Day week)

$552 for 4 round trip tickets ($138 each) - includes $60 for $9 fare club membership and $80 for 4 seats each way. Luggage not included. Budget trip - we were going to drive 18 hours each way but we found this deal instead. :)

When and what airline? That's a great price!

Sun Country and Delta have non-stop flights in April. Check ITA software. You can do one way searches for a month at a time. I go 2-3 times a year and rarely pay more than $100-$120 one way. You can download their app to your phone, keep track of what the fares are and what time frame you should expect them to go down.

$10 r/t per person. Thanks to SWA 50,000 point offer!!. That still leaves us 30,000 miles yet to spend.

DCA to MCO 4/11 return on Easter US Air $256 per person. price prior to booking was 350+ since then it is over 600 :scared1:

Currently looking at $4200 for 4 return from Ireland :scared1:

This is why we take long holidays :lmao:
