Their face value is the price you paid for them. Which varies depending on what dates you are travelling.
The nature of the vouchers means that if you use them in the restaurants listed you will get much more for your money than if you use them in non listed restaurants and use them at face value.
You can use them for a cheaper restaurant and to pay for your "meal" which includes drinks, but if the total is less than the vouchers value you will not receive any money back. (bit like a store gift voucher).
Sounds about right. But of course with the current poor exchange rate if you paid for your vouchers in £ then are planning on using them at face value in Euros you will have done yourself out of money.
If you havent yet booked then dont do half board unless you plan to eat at the listed restaurants.

That's what I thought. I paid £31 for them because I'm going this Thursday and got the Premium ones because we definitely wanted to go to Inventions and do the princess meal. I just wondered if I could use the vouchers in a cheaper place but use the extra value to get drinks.
You should be able to, i used my HB premium in cafe mickey and ate of the set menu which was less that the voucher, but i brought a extra drink which meant the total came to the 44euros if you understand me.
Be aware that Annettes would not accept our Premuium Voucher at Face value (44 Euros) when we ate there this weekedn just gone, also they mentioned they would only accept Standard or Plus vouchers against the set menu!!

Umm completely untrue. I think you'll find if you buy HB Premium just now at £31 and are able to use them at a face value of 44 you are in effect making money. The current (bank) exchange rate for £31 would get you 33.63 in exchange. However, it may well not be the case when the price goes up next month as I'm waiting to see.
