How much are the Mickey Mouse ears? I've always wanted some and hope to get some on my upcoming trip in January.

Thanks!

don't quote me at this: but i thought i read on another thread that they are either 12.95 or 12.99. I could be wrong, but my gut is leading me to those #s!

Thank you.

Does anyone know how much it costs to get your name put on?

that ive heard two different stories,

I've heard someone say $2.00 but the majority of people say it's free.

does anyone know FACTS!?! I'm heading down on Wednesday and wanted to pick up some ears for my friends back home and get their names on them!

I paid $11 for ears in July. I then paid $2 to have names put on. In July, perhaps the prices are higher now.

There are many different varieties of ears available. The price varies based on the type. The plain plain black ears start at $7.50 for youth size. The fancy varieties such as the pirate ears are $14.50.

There are two types of embroidery available. The single thread loop stitch available at Le Chapeau at MK is $2 per hat (at least it was a couple of weeks ago). The thread is either white or yellow depending what they are using that day.

The fancier embroidery is $7 plus tax. You can pick the font and thread color. It is available at Days Of Christmas at DTD and Celebrity 5 & 10 at MGM.

ok now im just confused.

i guess i will wait til i get down there in a couple days and find out for myself.

I'll try to help. Until the middle of last year, embroidery was free. There is no longer free embroidery. There are two different types. The one type, as I mentioned above, is done very quickly, hand-guided by the CM. It is available for $2 per hat.

The fine embroidery is done on a machine much like those fancy sewing machines that do embroidery. You can pick from a number of fonts and thread colors. It is only done at Days Of Christmas at DTD and at Celebrity 5 & 10 at MGM. It is $7.46 with tax per hat. It is really nice embroidery.

As for types of ears, they keep coming out with new types. They have the traditional black, pink, read, pink floral, princess, tink, fab four, pirate, pirate princess, YOMD, etc. The fancier the ears, the more expensive.

I hope this helped.

It helped!

But now it looks like im going to have to get new gifts for the friends back home, lol.

i dont want to go broke!

Do the stores that do the nice embroidery sell all the versions of the ears, or only certain ones? Can you buy ears somewhere else in WDW and have them embroidered at one of those two stores?

They do not carry all the different versions, but you can buy them anywhere and take them in to be embroidered.
