Hi we are joining DVC and I am a little confused about the AP prices, disney ticketing told me $414 for adults and my DVC guide said $366. Which is it? I don't think it would be the best value for us anyway but I'm j/w. Thanks!

DVC Annual Pass prices:
Adults (ages 10+) $389.00
Children (aged 3-9) $344.00

DVC Premium Annual Pass prices:
Adults (ages 10+) $494.00
Children (ages 3-9) $436.00

Prices don't include required 6.5% sales tax.

We participated in Give a Day, Get a Day, so I will use those tickets to reduce the DVC price even more. The AP makes sense for DVC members who go more than once a year and/ or for those who can schedule the yearly vacation one week earlier the next year before the AP expires.

We are going in mid July. I will make next year's summer vaca end of June or earlier July to use the pass.

How many DVC's actually buy premium AP's... for us they just dont make alot of sense!

We had 12 days in Aug 09, 2 days Oct 09, and will spend 8 days in April and 10 days in July on the same PAP, so for us it does make sense.

We don't like not having the option to go to the parks every/any day.

We'll be buying the AP's as well in May - we are planning to get at least 3 - probably more trips out of one pass. So, it will DEF. work for us.

** Also, on the GAD program.......... I'd love to do it........ there is just nothing local available.

I think Arthur was referring to the "premium" DVC AP's. Premium includes in addition to the main theme parks, unlimited admission to the water parks, Disney Quest and Wide World of Sports. But that is an extra almost $100 for the pass per year. Guess it depends on how often one does water parks and Disney Quest etc. I don't personally. Not enough to justify the extra $100/year per person. I wish though ! If I had the time I would ;)

Great minds think alike, we will be doing something similar, except getting Premium AP's. I have kids who love love love water parks and disney quest.

There are some at home volunteer opportunities for people who don't have anything local. I'm sure it is well covered on the boards, there might even be a sticky.

Are DVC AP's park hoppers?

There isn't a DVC AP, it is the same AP or Premium AP that anyone may purchase & both types allow you to hop. If you're a DVC member you can purchase AP or PAP at member discounted price.

If I'm not mistaken, $414 is the AP price with a DVC discount the first time you buy them or if you let more than 30 pass before renewing. $366 is the renewal price for DVC members. (Those prices include taxes.)

*I just checked and what I posted above is correct.

HI I hope someone can help me, because I don't know exactly where to look.

Our situation: Currently have AP (DVC discounted) that expires June 27th. We are DVC members.

We are going to Disney June 23rd. We would like to use the rest of our dated tickets and then buy a renewal. What date would our renewal be dated?

If we do GAD volunteering, can we apply that to our renewal? How much would be applied?

If we do that, how can I find out how much to expect to pay for the renewal passes (all adults)?

How long would the new pass be good for? Are they still offering 15 months vs. 12 months?

Thank you to any help you can provide!!
