How Much Alcohol Do You Buy At Xmas

ok perhaps its just me then it was a rather sozzled mate of mine that when asked why he had to over do it with the beer till he fell over said I MUST CARRY ON, THE LIVER IS THE ENEMY I MUST KILL IT. i think my house is a sort of local social club and i get carried away,but by january 5th i dont have much left just usually babycham even my friends wont drink it.thanks for all your comments i will try and cut back this year

We usually buy lots and lots of beer, a bottle of Malibu and Baileys...mixed together is delicious. I am really lucky in the fact that I am a teaching assistant and at Christmas the parents of the children in my class are very generous and I end up with more than enough wine.

I don't get too much at christmas, a case of nice champagne is the only thing that we get that we wouldn't get at any other time of the year, but all that doesn't get drunk at Christmas and over the new year. We always have wine and beer in the house for when friends drop by but we don't really do spirits or alcopops. We have some spritis in that we use for cooking but not drinking!!

How much do i buy??? to be honest not that much! 6 bottles of wine, bottle of port, sherry, gin etc for people that may pop in over the festive period!!
don't ask how much i drink over xmas ......
