My DH and I have one day to spend in US and we would love to visit both parks. Is this a good idea or should we focus on one park? We are visiting the area on May 5-9 and we are thinking of going to US that Sunday? Is that a bad day to visit the parks? I have never been to Florida so I am not sure of how much we can do in this park with only one day!! Any advise would be GREAT! :)

Mother's Day would be OK to visit. It will be busy but shouldn't be too crowded. The Express Plus passes are the cheapest on 5/8 so that usually indicates light crowds. Get there early and you should be able to do some of the major attractions w/o too much of a wait.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if Mother's Day would be a good or bad choice to help avoid the crowds!

This is what we did on Sunday March 13 ( It was our 3rd day, so we were repeating our favorite rides, and catching a few things that we missed on the first 2 days)

1.Hulk
2. Spiderman
3. FJ
4. FotH
5. Poseidon
( we then left, and went to our hotel (off site) to print our plane boarding passes, and ate at TGI Fridays while we were out.
6. Rip Ride Rocket
7. Simpsons
8. Sinbad (4:45 show)
9. Dragon Challenge x2- walk on
10. Ollivanders- 5 min. wait
11. Honeydukes and Zonkos- no lines. Other days we didn't try, because the lines were outside the shops!
12 FJ (30 min wait- was the shortest we had seen in 3 days)
13. Hulk

So you can see we did quite a lot.
Have a great trip!

We are going the same day! We fly in Sat afternoon and only have one day at Universal. It just works out to be Sun, so we are going to wing it and see. Be there when it opens and hope for the best. We mainly care about HP, but I have little ones that will love Dr Seuss!

Some of us on here have noticed that Sundays tend to be among the lightest days crowdwise on any normal week. You should be there on a good day! :thumbsup2

We are crossing our fingers that we can at least see our top 3 things at each of the Universal parks that day! Thanks for your insight! :) I still need to decide if its worth purchasing the express pass since we only have one day there or if we should sve the money since we are mostly there for WWOHP
