Hi

I personally have been 5 times and this year will be my 6th. My dh has been 3 times and this year his 4. My 6 yr old daughters this will be her third time and the 2 year old boys second time.

We cant get enough of WDW. We were meant to go next year Oct 2007, but I managed to persuade dh to go Oct 2006 and to book 2 extra nights. I wanted to go for 21 nights, but my dh only has 25 days annual leave and I have 35 so it really doesnt matter if I take 3 weeks off work. I am so excited I managed to persuade him to book 2 extra nights.

The best thing I love about WDW is the atmopshere and the characters. I love seeing Mickey and especially my childrens faces. You feel like your big kid again.

Why do you keep returning? For us we just simply cant get enough. Always miss something or something new comes out. Each time we go we can see something else. We love the whole thing really. Parks, people, flights, food etc.... If we go Caribbean or Europe its just beach, pool or some sigh seeings. We have been to Mexico, Barbados, Cyprus, Kos and Fuertventura and we have never enjoyed a holiday as much as Florida. We have always looked forward to going home. Everytime we went to Florida we have never wanted to go home.

Just cant wait to book the flights and villa on pay day. Yipee!!!! :cheer2:

Please excuse grammer etc.... I am really tired after working a night and having 3 hours sleep.

Hope you all had a great new year!

Sept '06 will be My 3rd & Gavin's 2nd trip to WDW, It will also be our last for a couple of years :guilty:

October 2006 will be mine and Vickis 4th visit, I love everything about it, and I know that I still havent seen it all yet!!

I love the atmosphere, the weather, the good friends I have made, and the way it makes me forget, just for 2 wonderful weeks in a year about everything I would rather not be thinking about, such as work. :goodvibes

Went twice in the earl 90's when in my late teens. The went back in 2001 with DH for our honeymoon, it was his first visit :teeth: Since then been back 3 times and also been to California and DL there. We like WDW and Florida but also like the rest of the US :) I must say we like our main holiday to be to the US but also enjoy a week in Lanzarote or even a city break as well during the year, if we can manage it.

Claire ;)

We have been 6 times and will go most years as we are DVC members. We don't feel the need to go into the parks alot though, just enjoy the theming of the resorts and the atmosphere everywhere. It's not our main holiday as we always do a cruise each year and often a Caribbean holiday as well. We bought into DVC to give us a cheap extra holiday and for family and friends to use.

Our trip in May will be our 3rd. Our first time was in April 05 and we had a great time so decided (with a bit of persuasion from me) to go again last September. I don't quite know what it is that makes me want to go back again, I think maybe the fact that it is so different from other holidays that we are used to. I am not sure if we will ever go again after May as I think that by then hubby will have had enough but then I thought he would feel that way after one visit so who knows. ;)

We have been five times now and enjoy not just the theme parks but the entire resort, especially the hotels and restaurants. We always stay at Universal Orlando for a portion of our trip as well, as our children love the attractions and the hotels are wonderful especially with the front-of-the-line access. Most of the enjoyment we get from our Florida trips are from sharing it with our three young children and seeing their excitement. I'm not sure that just DH and I would enjoy it to the same extent if we went alone.

We are giving WDW a miss this year and visiting Disneyland California and the west coast USA in August. I hope we will enjoy it just as much as Florida :flower:

:wizard:

Next year will be our 13th trip, I think....

Although we love WDW , for us it's a holiday to Florida and we are fortunate to have had the chance to explore many other parts and have not always been restricted to Orlando.
However, as Joshua gets older he appreciates the theme parks more and more so we do concentrate in Orlando these days.

The best thing is seeing Joshua really enjoy his holiday, whether it be at the theme parks or playing in the pool etc , if he is happy then so are we.

I stopped counting a while ago, but I think i've topped 40 times by now.

My first trip to WDW was at the age of 18 (in 1974). So there's been plenty of time to build up all those trips. We go every year and some years more than once (this year was 3 trips).

Clearly we can't get enough. So much so that my daughter is now a performer for WDW (singer/actor).

What do I like best? The CMs. They're so nice. I don't think I've ever met a nasty CM at WDW. I especially love chatting with all the older CMs who've retired from other jobs and moved down to Orlando for their golden years. It's always interesting to hear their stories.

As for WDW itself. I love things that are especially Disney-like to me. Like Wishes and the Hunchback of Notre Dame (unfortunately no longer there).

I love all the details. When they do something like Splash Mountain they do every little part of it. Really setting the scene. The theming of the attractions. And that goes for the resorts as well. Such attention to detail. And the landscaping is amazing. Again, such attention to detail.

I could go on and on.

this may will be my second time!
and the best bit about wdw is that you forget all your troubles and its the most magical place in the world!

Ditto here Jodie - me and DH will be undertaking our 3rd trip in Oct this year :sunny: It will be the first time for my DDs though. It will also, more than likely, have to be our last trip for a couple of years too as DDs will be starting GCSEs next year and we couldn't afford to go in school holidays. The upside of it is that, with a couple of years to save, we will hopefully be able to stay on site at a moderate or maybe even stretch to the AKL.

I have just been on my 19th visit, I went every year growing up with my parents and have been every year since sometimes twice, its what I work for as I dont have a house etc to worry about yet, when I do it will be every three years, trip 20 is booked for september

May this year, will be my 4th trip to WDW.

Why do I keep returning? Well its a wonderful place and the americans are so friendly and patient, the weather, the rides, oh and best of all, Sea World!

I have been to WDW 3 times. April 2006 will be my 4th trip, and the first trip that we will have stayed onsite at WDW.

We've been 6 times ~ Visiting other parts of the US this year instead of WDW.

I just love everything about it and it allows me for 2 weeks to forget all of the pressures back home.

I've personally been to WDW 18 times since 1987. I've been lucky because I used to get paid to go to the States due to work.

I love the feeling of escaping everyday life at WDW and being able to do anything your heart desires.

Andy

I think I have just been on the 13th or 14th visit.

Just love the place!

I have been 4 times and DH 5 times :)

I love WDW and can't imagine holidaying anywhere else for a little while...

We have been to WDW 8 times and Disneyland California once. We are thinking of giving it a miss this year and going somewhere else, but not sure yet! No plans anyway at the moment. We are just so happy when we're there :sunny: I used to work for BA and travelled all over the place, and Florida and New York are my two fave places :goodvibes
