How many times can you bank?

Is there a limit on the number of times you can bank your points? We have a few points that are due to expire in the coming months from a transfer, and we have our normal allotment of points to be banked by December. Can we bank those few transferred points now and then bank the rest later this year?

yes. you can only bank individual pts once, but you can bank different pts several times in one year, so long as you do it before the banking window closes at 8 months.

Any specific point can be banked only once. In other words, points banked from 06 to 07 cannot be banked into 08. I believe that is what the poster meant by an "individual" point.

yep. you can bank 50 pts from your current UY into the next UY, but you can't bank those pts again in the next UY.

as stated, you can still bank another 25 pts from your current UY into next year, and another 30 after that - even after you've banked those 50 pts, so long as you are still within your banking window.

You can bank only one year ahead.

Assume you have 300 points.

You decide to bank 100 points today and do it. You have 200 points to use this use year.

3 days from now you want to bank another 100 point and do it. You have 100 points to use this use year.

Five weeks from now you want to bank another 100 points and do it. You now have no more points to bank.

Of course you have to bank within eight months from the beginning of your use year.
