I went to 2 different elementary schools, then there was middle school, then there was high school. Would that be 4 schools or 2 different school systems?
My family was military - Sadly, I lost count. I spent up to about 8th grade constantly trying to catch up with whatever was being taught. In the long run though it has taught me to be flexible and a quick study. I never got used to the goodbys though. I still avoid them whenever I can.
I went to a new school almost every year although I managed to stay in the same high school for 2-1/2 years. My parents moved around a lot--and we weren't military. Just dysfunctional.
2
One aged 4-11
One aged 11-18
Over here in England that is practically standard. I could have left school at 16 to go to a different college but I choose to stay on at high school for another 2 years before going to university at 18.
Went to special ed school until I was mainstreamed second semester of first grade
1-4 at Center School
5-6 at Liberty School
7 at Jerling Junior High
8 at Orland Junior High
9-12 at Andrew High School
Funny thing is, only when I was mainstreamed were any of the changes due to moving. Center was closed after my 4th grade year as was Jerling after my 7th grade year. Otherwise I never would have went to Liberty or OJH.
Harrison Elementary
Mary Frank Elementary

Some School in Michigan...I can't remember the name
Schmucker Junior High
Penn High School
Whew! All the changes were thanks to a divorce and moves. I think one may have been a redistricting.
