How many resting places are in each park?

I was out in the heat Saturday in 90 plus temps with my mask on. I realized I’m going to have to stop at the resting places to take my mask off.
I’ve tried several in the heat outside and all them are hard to breath in.
Do they show them on the Disney maps?

I particularly enjoyed the airconditioned one in Launch Bay at HS. Tomorrowland Terrace looked nice too with open air, few people, and some air conditioning.

We just got back and found the disposable surgical types are much cooler than cloth. Also maybe invest in a cooling cloth and one of those fans that goes around your neck. It is indeed very hot and with reduced hours, you don't have much of a chance to take advantage of somewhat cooler nights.

Wear the cheap throwaway surgical masks. They work best for comfort. The ones sold at WDW are too small With only the large barely able to fit an adult.

There are a few relaxation areas in each park. I know a lot of people find the paper disposable masks to be most comfortable, but I preferred cloth masks when I was in the parks last week. I brought snacks with me to the parks so when I needed a mask break(or when i was hungry) I could just find a nice shady table and take a mask break while eating without trying to find a relaxation zone.

Just curious, but why would using a cloth mask provide you any more opportunity for a mask break than a disposable mask?

Sorry I wasn’t clear. I meant that I found cloth masks more comfortable than paper since people up in the thread were mentioning their mask preferences. Mask material doesn’t have any effect on break opportunities haha

Can I ask which type of cloth masks you used and were they 2 layer? (I just found out today that WDW added the "2 layers" requirement). Like if you could give me the brand name or where you bought them.
I had been planning on sewing single layer (but tight weave) 100% cotton for the park and also take a good supply of the disposable ones. But now I'll have to sew the double layer ones.
Anyway ya.... I'd like to hear about which 2 layer cloth masks people find work best as I bought Disney-patterned 100% cotton cloth in 4 different designs and was hoping to use them.

Not the poster you asked, but we have a mask thread running on the DL Community Board. Right now, the cloth masks (2 layer) with high marks for fit, comfort, wearability, and easy washability are Old Navy, Vera Bradley, Target (especially for kids). Vista Print masks get good reviews, too. The Disney masks are hit or miss -- people either really like them or hate them.

I give Kudos for Disney for providing the Relaxation Stations and actually turning on those ceiling fans throughout the parks and cranking up the AC . They provide their own energy source on property , they could afford more . Please.
also happy to see guests realizing they must think ahead for new strategy to have their Disney fun.
it sounds like it is not crowded and lines look short but seating capacity and sanitizing actions require a completely different time frame. The max seating on a bus is 25 people For example.
I hate Mobile Order on a phone menu... I am so slow. And my phone is older and small screen torture. Determined to learn brave new WorldDisney!
Wear mask Sanitize and distance please is new mantra.

Thanks so much for this info! I will check out that thread.

If you are planning on making your own, I've found that batik fabric is the best for masks, as it is a tight weave but lightweight and very soft. Even having a cheaper fabric on the outside, I'd recommend batik on the inside.

Thank you, DisneyOma! I will search out that at the fabric store as I'm not immediately familiar with it. off-topic: both of my parents were German immigrants (as children) so all of the grandmoms in my family were "Omas"...... My now-deceased mom was the best of them all. She loved going to WDW and seeing the parks through the eyes of our kids when they were little.
