during a SINGLE trip? After being to WDW multiple times, I've really started to enjoy the hotels more and more. The most hotels I've stayed at during one trip was 3 and I've done that several times. I really never unpacked and I had to write down where I was suppose to be on any given day. :teeth:

Anyone else out there like to experience multiple hotels on a single trip? Listing off site hotels is OK too.

The most I've stayed at in 1 trip was in 97' on my honeymoon:lovestruc :lovestruc :bride: :groom: :lovestruc :lovestruc

We stayed the 1st 2 nights at GF, the next 7 nights at POR-R (then DL) and the next 3 nights at VB.

That was the year we joined DVC and now we pretty much stay DVC Sun-Thurs. and do a non-DVC Disney resort on the wknd Fri. & Sat.

The resort experience is one of the best parts of the trip, so I try to experience as many as I can. We have stayed at 3 resorts in one trip.

The most resorts I have stayed at on one trip was 3 resorts on my honeymoon. I think that was probably one move too many for us. We like splitting our stay between 2 resorts for variety, but 3 moves was a bit much moving for us.

I have done 3 hotels in one trip and it was fun, would I do it again, YES but in November I am staying strictly at BWI, I am dooing the silver plan so I think it is better to stay in one place :D

I had to vote 1, since up to now we have always stayed at the same resort for the whole trip. But, this April we will be splitting between the Poly and AKL!!:sunny:

OOPS! I clicked on 5 after reading only the title...then I read the post. ;) My answer should be 2.

Our last trip in Nov/Dec stayed at the Swan. AKL and OKW. This was the first time we switched resorts at all and everything went smoothly. Next trip is the Poly and then OKW.

I guess it just depends on how many times you can make it and those of us who live in Florida and relatively close have a greater opportunity.

3 in 1 -

ASMU night 1
CSR nights 2 & 3
Dolphin remaining 6 nights.

After looking at the results, I'm betting that I wasn't the only one who voted before she read the whole question. For the record, I have NOT stayed at five or more resorts in one trip, and I bet some of those other people haven't either.

The most I have ever done was two different Resorts during one stay...

same here...my answer should be one...I got carried away with counting how many I have stayed at...LOL

The most changes I've done in one vacation was 4 in May 2002.

We stayed two nights in a 5 bedroom house we rented (12 of us), then off to the Disney Wonder for 4 nights. After the cruise checked into Coronado Springs for 5 nights and then everyone else went home and we went to AKL for our last 4 nights!!!

What a great vacation... I love staying at different resorts!

Our next trip will be the first time we will split our stay between two resorts. Sorry about that.

One trip we did Polynesian (for me), Yacht Club (for DH) and Animal Kingdom Lodge (for the 3 ds). All little ds kept saying was take me back to the Poly. I think 2 is our limit these trips. Aug we did Poly and Swan and now this April we are just doing swan.

We would never consider a split stay. I've never understood why people would do this:scratchin I want to unpack once and not pack again until we go home.

Never say never ;) I use to feel that way but got the urge to move around during my 10th or so trip. My visit to the World last year was the best of the "moving" vacations. Each hotel was so unique. First was AKL then on to the BC and finally CSR, which was my first visit there. I was traveling solo and I can understand how it could be a pain if there were others involved. But for a single traveler, it can really be fun! :Pinkbounc

didn't read your post before voting - I thought you meant how many resorts TOTAL so I voted 5 or more when in fact I've never resort-hopped. We thought about it, and probably will do it in the future because we now have 2 favorite resorts. The YC/BC and the Poly. I can't believe folks would hop 5 times or more within one trip - goodness.
