I have about 15,000. I'm never going to get a flight out of it but what would be the best thing to get? I can get a magazine subscription I guess.

Now I'm feeling positively medieval. Not only do I NOT know my points total but I never look at the docket either.

Oh but you should! I got 500 points offered for buying something the other day, I think it was milk or cheese or chicken or something.

I constantly activate the offers as the emails are sent round. And then forward them to DH.

Likewise with the weekly voucher benefits that they put in snail mail.

DH does the shopping in this house. We make a list. When he goes, he comes back with everything on the list.
When I go, I come back with everything on the list.....and then some.




































I thought it was a good strategy to get out of the grocery shopping.

I don't get weekly snail mails I get email ones and ones with some booklet thingy. Why don't I get weekly snail mail? Am I not good enough for weekly snail mail? Did I annoy someone at Coles and I'm on a non-weekly snail mail list out there? I do many think I can handle rejection from Coles

I think I get the snail mail about once every 2 months. When it comes, there are a bunch of vouchers in there with special points collection. One for each week; running over 8 or 9 weeks or so? You have to take the voucher in so and scan the barcode of the voucher for the applicable week. I hand the whole set over to DH. He remembers to tear out the voucher when he goes.

The email is weekly.

And I think I've close on 17,000 points right now. Give or take a thousand or so.

That's what I was thinking.

I never make a point of seeking out fly buy points here in NZ. There is almost always a better deal to be found elsewhere.

I just had a look at the nz flybuys and it costs 150 points to get a music cd, would be interested in knowing how many points in Australia.

Ok found the flybuys au site, doesn't look like they do music CDs, but a 16gb iPod touch is 51,800 points, where nz flybuys is 2,195.
