Would not let me vote either. 301 + for us. We bought 200 OKW originally and we knew we wanted more right away. Just bought 150 at BCV and added 60 more at OKW - 410 total, oh yes I forgot, my next goal is HH.

Well, we are at 455 at VWL. 175 original contract, 50 point add-on, 230 point resale contract.I am sure it will be enough points(for now!).

I am over 300 also, but got there bit by bit! We started with 160 at BWV--enough for 1 week in a 2BR every other year. Then we added 100 at VWL for 5 days in the other years. We just this week started another 75 pt. VWL addon so we can do a full week at VWL.
We would not have this much if we didn't have more than the 1 BR occupancy limit in our family!;) If we could go with a 1BR we wouldn't need as many. OH WELL!:D

430, where else?

I'll give a hint...'many consider it to be the only "true" DVC resort'

Gee I never knew I had the same amount of points at the only True DVC resort as you do Rich..... I also have 270 Long walk to the rooms points and 170 Too new to tell points. :p

You might also want to check a <a href="http://198.64.133.85/showthread.php?s=&threadid=445&highlight=Poll">prior poll</a> on the same subject!

Enjoy!

380 at OKW in two contracts. Original 230 point contract plus a 150 point add-on.

Too funny Laurabearz:)

I have 230 "long walk to the room" pnts. (I'm assuming this references BWV) and 200 "too new to tell" pnts. One of these days I'm going to buy 200 or so of "the only true DVC resort" but for now I'll just have to be "a wanna be":D

All 520 at OKW. Some additional VB points in our future though.

500 Points at VWL ( four different contracts ) and 110 at BCV ( I think we need more BCV ).

We like to take our family and friends with us and usually need at least one two-bedroom and sometimes more. The BCV points were going to be just for the two of us but I think our family would enjoy it too.

Funny, I'm amazed to find I'm in the minority.

We have 150 VWL and 100 points add-on @ BCV. WE were thinking location and we would have always had to buy points as long as we brought people with us.
That's part of the fun sharing it with others.....

You'll love DVC, I don't believe there is a 1 of us that would tell you we regret our choice except we didn't do it sooner.

Enjoy,

W have 175 at BCV (first DVC stay in Sept). I think am in the minority here because all we really need is a studio and see no reason for us to need more points. We like to resort hop so this is how we are doing our November trip to not waste our points on weekends.
Nov 3-8 BCV for 5 nights 60pts
Nov 8-11 (3 nights AllStars for $49 a night and yes we actually LOVE the AllStars)
Nov 11-13 VWL 24pts

DD and I are also going in Sept for 3 nights at OKW 24pts

Grand total used 108pts still have 67 left to use for a Feb and Possible another short one in Sept.

This may be more info than you wanted but since you are in the decision making process I thought you might want to see how someone with a smaller amount of points stretches them.

800 Points at BCV! Still not enough, I have planned all our trips this year and have run out of points!

Thank you all for your responses. It is greatly appreciated. We just don't have the resources to get the number of points I need so we are probably going to come in at 150-200 range, and build from there.

I have 320 (two contracts) at Richyams resort. I have 116,000 points at Branson and 13,000 points at Big Cedar (which are both equivalent to a two bedroom for a week). Wish I had ALL of those points at OKW. What could I do with 129,320 points at OKW????

We have 270 "long walk to the room" points and 230 "only true DVC resort" points. Love 'em both!
