How many points do I need?

DH feels bad that we won't be able to do a WDW 2004 trip so he scheduled a May 2005 for us. I was wondering how many points will I need to rent to stay in a Home Away from Home for 7 nights in any week in May 2005?...preferably from a Saturday to a Saturday. How much should I expect to pay for these points?

It depends on what size unit you are looking to rent, a studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom or Grand Villa. Also, it depends on which DVC resort you want to stay at.

The going rate for points seems to be right around $10. Go the Rent/Trade board to look for someone selling points or to post your request for the points you need! Good luck...

Thank you...I was thinking about Beach Club or OKW. A studio will do because anything after that will get too expensive.

Thank you! My sweet DH is giving me a hard time about the renting of DVC points. I think he's leaning toward offsite still. I'll see what he says once I run the price of the studios to him. He will probably flip because he likes to hear two bedrooms come out of my mouth. We'll see. We are staying at the Poly next September so there is no need to cry on my part. Thanks again!
