I know this question had to have been asked before but I can't seem to get the search function to work .........

....We are a family of 5,( me, DH, DD12,DS9, DD6) will we be able to fit in the rides together or will we need to split up? If we have to split how often? I know for rides like Space Mountain we have to sit single file...I'm wondering about Pooh, Buzz, Snow White, Peter Pan..those kind of rides.

Any Help??
Thanks,
Kimba

Pooh: Has a vehicle that has two rows of seats in each little "Honey Pot" I think you will be able to do 3 and 2 on this ride.

BUZ: Each space pod has seats for three but only two lazers cannons in each pod both your sons may want to control their own ship as in the middle there is a joy stick that makes the ship turn in the direction your firing the cannon.

Snow White: Has a vehicle with three rows of seats per log? That have two seats per row, so you could do 2, 2, & 1 for a little extra room.

Peter Pan: Each ship will hold three so you could ride 2 & 3.

The Haunted Mansion: Will hold three in each Doom Buggy.

Big Thunder Mountain: The seat will hold three small or two regular people. But you will all be on the same train.

It's a small world: Everyone in the same boat no problem.

Dumbo: Two to an Elephant.

Mad Tea Cups: Let the boys do one and the girls in an other, five would be too many in one cup.

Hope this helps.

When we were in line for Goofy's Barnstormer the CM asked us "How many?". I told her "Four" and she said "I love families of four! They're so easy to line up!".

I told her that's why we only have two kids. :p ;) Anymore than that and it messes up our Disney seating arrangement!

OP, you might have luck seating your 6YO with you and your DH. I know that while we were in line for Peter Pan they wouldn't let a family of three sit together, they split them in between two ships. Mom and child in one ship, Dad in another. I thought it was weird, but who knows?

Good luck!

Yep, we are a family of five and it can be a bit of a pain. We are used to it. Peter Pan will let 1 Adult and 2 kids but may not let 2 adults and 1 child- sort of depends.
I find we are much happier not to try to fit all of us in- One I would say you really should split up for is Haunted Mansion.
We would put two kids together and Mom and Dad would switch off being alone.

I really appreciate all your help!
Am I correct in assuming that most of the splitting up will be done in Magic Kingdom?
How about Epcot,MGM and AK?

Any more advice?

Thanks Again,
Kimba

Most of the rides are big and can easily hold 5 or more in a row (Universe of Energy, Malestrom, The Land, Mexico, Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, Safari, Kali River Rapids), or fit 3 in one row with 2 behind (Spaceship Earth, Imagination, Test Track). You really should not have too much touble riding and experiencing it together. (I cannot talk about Mission Space, RNRC, or TOT as I am way to chicken to ride and am not sure how the cars are set up.)

We were just at WDW and on Peter Pan they let 3 of us adults all on together (mind you, we're not very big -- 5'8" and under!)

We had 3 of us and did pretty much everything except Buzz all together. Don't worry about splitting up for Buzz, it's more fun to be able to control your own cart and gun... the cars are so close together that you can see everyone else.
