How many people go to Disney Every Year?

Anyone have any idea how many people go to disney every year? I would be very interested to know the exact percentage. But this little poll will have to do...I guess!

That's a great point! No I'm really just curious as to how much of WDW is repeat business and how much is brand new!

We have always gone once every year with a couple of times when we made it there twice.

We just bought a condo last month so will be there 4 or 5 times this year with our new APs woohoo!!!

I didn't vote. We are going on our 8th trip since 2004 next month, but we haven't been since Nov 2010. For several years, we went once a year, with two trips in the same year twice.

I voted. We go once per year. However, I don't think the DIS is the best place to measure percentage of repeat business! Most of us here operate outside the norm as far as Disney is concerned.

Yep....but your poll said Disney World.
We do buy annual passes.
Got DLR 4-5 times in that year since we can drive.
And we have DVC holdings at both, so use the points that way also

The math teacher in me has to point this out: the Disboards probably isn't the best audience to sample. Those once-in-a-lifers are probably a much smaller percentage of Disers than those who go fairly frequently.

As for us, here's our history:
2008: I had gone back to work, so we got to take the kids to WDW. I was also looking at a mastectomy a month after our return, so it was a great distraction.

2009: Disney offered the 4/3 deal after the economy tanked. I had just finished radiation and reconstruction, and was lookint at a thyroidectomy that September (yeah, it was a rough time!) and the distraction was great.

2012: After 3 years, we figured we were due for a return.

2014: it will be our 25th anniversary, our son's 16th birthday, my older daughter's middle school graduation and our younger daughter's elementary school graduation. Sounds like an excuse to me!!

So I voted for "every 3 years", but there's no real pattern here.
