If I want to go the MNSSHP and not pack a costume - am I going to look out of place? About what percentage of people at the party are in a costume?

Thanks!

I would like the answer to this also. Today, I bought 2 orange polo's that I thought I would have embroidry put on the chest..........like MNSSHP 2006. I think this will be about as costumie as we will get.

I have never been, but I bought us matching shirts with the same logo, but in different colors. It's going to be hot and I wanted to be comfortable. Plus my DH didn't want to dress up. I think you can wear or not wear what ever you are comfortable wearing!!!

We went last year and it's about 50% with another 10-20% with just Holloween T's and hoodies and the rest just enjoying the show.

Dressed or not you still get to enjoy all thats offered.

you will be fine without a 'costume' there are too many other fun things going!

we're going without a costume too. the last time we attended MNSSHP was right on Halloween night and it really was a lot of fun. but this time I think we'll just do t-shirts. either way it'll be great!

We went last year without one and there were lots and lots of people without - esp adults/teenagers. We didn't feel out of place at all.

Oh sure--I thought 'almost everybody' dressed up so I bought a Cinderella costume to match my dd!! I could have sworn a month ago this same question was asked and the responses were that 'most' people dressed up?? :confused3 Oh well, I know I can sell my dress on ebay next year and recoup (hopefully) most of my costs.

Goofydiane--I also wanted to post and tell you that I am from Shakopee!! Small world huh?? We will be there from 10/15-10/20 at the Poly.

This year I'm dressing up but last year I only wore a Halloween T-shirt and felt completely at ease. I'm reliving my childhood this year (and a mid-life crisis) therefore I'm dressing up. :rotfl:

What the heck...We're gonna dress up, but as Pirates pirate:. I think there will be more pirates in the park than people not dressed up :rotfl2: .

We're dressing up.

My two DD's (4 and 18 months), my wife and I. My sister is coming and she is desperately trying to put together a Corpse Bride costume but not having much luck.

My wife is busy working on our Red and white "Royal" costumes. The girls' are done, and I have a shirt. She simply has a bunch of pieces of fabric for hers tho ...

My 3 adult friends and I dressed up last year and had a great time. Lots of adults were dressed up. We went as villains. When we would meet our counterpart, they would always make a big deal out of it. I was the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. This year my mom and I are going on the DVC cruise first so we do not want to pack costumes. We are going to try to find halloween t-shirts while at DTD.

You'll have fun. My dd and I dressed up a few years ago--we were witches. Pretty witches, though, dd insisted on that. :teeth: I did have one little boy come up and tell me he really liked my costume.

Last year my dd was the Corpse Bride, she got a great reaction from alot of people at WDW. This year she is going to be Elizabeth Swan. heres a picture of her with Tarzan!

We've been to MNSSHP several times and have done both - dressed up (one time in full Nightmare Before Christmas costumes & make-up!) and just gone in Halloween t-shirts. You'll have a great time either way! This year we are just going to wear MNSSHP shirts we bought at the last party we went to.

The closer to Halloween, the more people you will see in costume.

In that case I am wearing a costume, don't want to do the other!

My 8 yr old dd has always been afraid of Halloween (yes, could you believe that). This year she told me she'd go to the MNSSHP if we go to WDW during that time. We have a trip planned for late this month, early Oct. If she wants to go to the party I'll dress up ;) She's going to be Minnie Mouse (guess I'll have to be Mickey)...hope the "real" Mickey and Minnie won't mind, after all they should be flattered!! :rotfl2:
