IMO I would say 6 is correct comfortably, especially for a family. There is a queen(?) in the bedroom(2) along with bunk beds(2). The living room has the fold down murphy bed that sleep 2. There is a couch, that does not pull out but I don't think it would be comfortable for a 12yo. I have heard of some families giving the kids the bedroom and they sleep on the murphy bed.

Definitely sleeps 6 but you need two pairs to share. Also, remember there's only one bathroom. We had my mom and two kids in the bedroom, DH & I on the murphy bed. I tried to share the bed in the bedroom (full or queen, can't remember) with DD but actually thought the murphy bed was more comfortable!
Uh, Jim, I don't think the bed in the bedroom is a queen. It's a double of some kind but it felt more like a Full. And I was skinny then.
Same for the Murphy bed. It's no queen either but sleeps two.
Until someone puts a tape measure to the beds for certain, that's just my opinion.
The thing about the bed in the bed room is one long side is against a wall. The Murphy bed has no obstruction on either side for a knee or foot to bump into.
I think I remember seeing it listed somewhere as a queen but I didn't think it was so I put the ? in there. It seemed like it was bigger then a full but not by much and maybe that's because it was against the wall. The again after a long day at the park a twin might have seemed big

And there is room for them to move it out closer to the window to give the inside person easier access, or at least the one we were in as it was a handicap room, anybody know if the regular cabins are like that?
If I remember I'll being a tape measure down in Nov and measure things up and report back, in triplicate of course
