DH and I are both bringing 6, not including our pool flip flops.
I don't know how to go with less, 1 pair of sneakers, one dress shoe for that special dinner, 1 pair crocks, Tivas sandals, 2 pair (different styles) Birkenstock's
I love a change of shoes!

Forgot about my Sketcher Go Walks so I guess 7 it is. DH will have 6 or 7 as well I just asked him. He has a lot more shoes than I do.

Me. 1 pair
DW 2 pair, that being her flip flops.

I used to bring two pairs of sneakers and a pair of sandals for the pool.

three - one pair of flip flops and two identical pair of walking shoes (the two newest pair) so I can trade off if I get caught in the rain. Getting wet doesn't hurt the walking shoes - you can throw them in the washing machine to clean them so they can get wet just fine. I just like to be able to let one pair completely dry before wearing it again. The flip flops are for wearing around the room, pool, and a quick trip to the food court.

I just packed for a 6 day spontaneous trip and I have 6 - two pairs of good flip flops (that I can walk in), 2 pairs of sneakers and 2 pairs of sandals (one a bit dressy, one pair walking sandals). I like options plus my feet feel better when I can switch it up!

Three. Leather Tevas that are great walking shoes and also look nice with dresses so I can wear them when I need to dress up. Flip flops for the pool and sketchers GoWalks. I alternate between all 3 over the course of a trip otherwise my feet end up unhappy with me.

I am leaving on Wednesday for a split Universal and Disney trip and am planning for 4. ..running shoes, Keens, Toms and slides(for the pool and waterpark day). I will alternate the first 3 pairs.

I struggle with this- I like to have my birks, pool flip flops, disney vans, running runners, and usually two pairs of sanuk sandals.

Four pairs. Two pair of sneakers, 1 of which I wear on the way, Docksiders or something similar ( work well with capri pants which is my dress up clothing) & my LL Bean flip-flops. I only wear the flip-flops to the pool & to my mani/ pedicure.

3 pairs of sandals like Tevas and Clarks Flip Flops, 1 pair of cheap flip flops to wear to the pool. I just wear my nicer pair of sandals if we go out to eat, even at California Grill that worked. The year we went to V&A's I did take an extra pair of really nice sandals.

In the fall/winter, 2 pairs.

Spring/summer, 3 pairs. Gotta have flip flops/sandals for the pool.

Usually 4...two pairs flip flops, one pair running shoes, one pair of Birkenstocks.

6 each not including flip flops for the pool/resort is absolutely overkill IMHO.
I wear a pair of sneakers and bring a pair of sneakers in case of needing to let one pair dry.
Then I have one pair of sandals only if I bring a dress. And a pair of flip flops for the pool.
So wear 1 pair and pack 2-3.
So never more than 4 pairs of shoes with me while there.

Depends if I'm going to a nice ADR outside the park
- sneakers
- heels or flats
- flip flops/indoor slippers for the hotel room and to walk to the pool
