Looking at all the user cps had me saying to myself "his birth date is when we first went to America, his is when my brother got married in America."
How many of the over 50's can't wait for the next new rollercoaster with grandfather chair arms

I am WELL over 50, and I love the rides! Unfortunately, at the moment health issues keep me off of them, but I will get back to them in the future!

I'm 57 and can remember riding the infamous coaster at New Jersey's Pallisades Amusement Park over and over again in the 60's. Nowadays, rides with a lot of lateral torque stress my back and make me dizzy in ways they never used to. On the other hand, I TOTALLY LOVED Mission Space and went on it twice. (My wife, in her 40s, rode it once and turned a delicate green for half a day...) So I pick and choose more than I used to, but certainly haven't given up wild rides altogether.

I am over fifty and this was the first year that I didn't do any rides, because of recent back surgery. The good Lord willing, I will ride again in the future.

Just got diagnosed in the Summer ,early old age ,trying everything to avoid surgery as my youngest daughter is twelve and i am afraid of the surgery risks.

I think you'd probably have an easier time finding people who don't ride the rides - other than those on the temporary injured reserve lists... My husband is over 50, loves the most wild rides Disney can create: Mission Space (I was the green one), the race cars, Thunder/Splash Mountains, etc.

Also, as one who avoids the particularly jarring experiences, I must say I will enjoy the more serene rides well past 50. I've been loving WDW so much I consider the boat trip from BCV to MGM a ride. To me, it's all one big theme park, not just the parks themselves.

I sure hope when I am over fifty, I am still riding!! I love thrill rides!

Over 50, still do most of the rides, just not Splash Mountain, and TOT...Not because of age just don't like long drops. Love Mission Space, R&RRC, not crazy about Space Mountain but never liked it when I was twenty but I rode it in September.

My mom (68) dad (70) and myself (47) went on the Primeval Whirl and had a blast. We laughed the whole time.
I don't like coaster that winch you way up and then have a long steep drop.
I love Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, BIg Thunder Mountain, Dinosaur, etc. NOT Rock N Roller Coaster.
My dad is starting to slow down a bit, but he still loves them all too.

Can't beat the Kroezes post, but I love the thrill rides, even Hulk, and Fire and Ice, and yes, Dr. Doom at IOA. We're actually doing a real splurge and flying down for a 3 day weekend to celebrate my birthday (#53). DH is 56 and you'll find us riding the Disney Mountain Range, RnR, ToT, Mission Space, and maybe Dinosaur. Oh yea, we have to go to AK to pick up those AP lanyards. (Sometimes we skip AK).

I hope that the aging process slows down so we can keep on riding the ones we love (can't do tea cups any more).

when we go to WDW and IoA in three weeks - oh, let me say that again - THREE WEEKS!!! -:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
ok, i'm better now; anyway, i am a definite thrill-seeker and plan to seek thrills till the day i die -

I ride all of the thrill rides at Universal, Islands of Adventure, and WDW. Coasters are my favorite. For my 53 birthday 2 days ago, I picked Universal and IoA instead of dinner and a movie. Did both parks: rode MIB over 10 times, Hulk twice, Dueling Dragons, Jurrassic Park, Spiderman (twice), and Ripsaw Falls. We ran all over the 2 parks that day. We had so much fun, we went back the next day (Thanksgiving) and did it again. My husband is 53 also and loves them all.

My favorite rides at WDW are RnR, ToT, Splashmountain, MissionSpace, Spacemountain, BTMR, and Dinosaur. At Disneyland my favorites are Matterhorn, Splash, Space, and Indiana Jones. I seldom ride the tame rides except for Pirates and Haunted Mansion, which I love.

We have two teen sons still at home and love to ride anything they like. The only difference between how I ride now and how I rode when I was a teenagers is now I have to take anti-nausea medication before I hit the parks.

I'm 52 and love all the rides at all Disney parks and at Universal, although I haven't been on Dumbo for quite a few years just because we don't like spending time in line for it.

My Grandma loved to ride on Space Mountain!

the 17 kindergarteners I work with each Friday mornings and the one I'm unexpectedly raising! The RNRC has nothing on Isabella on one of her high energy days. I'll be 54 in a few days and she's keeping me young. So are my frequent trips to celebrate my never ending childhood at WDW!

Uncleromulus is 58--TODAY!!!
And Splash Mountain/Big THunder Mountain test the limits of my tolerance of "thrill" rides. I much prefer the "soft" rides (like Horizons, World of Motion) which seem to be disappearing fast---

I'm definitely over "50" but I still enjoy riding the "hold on to your hat rides." I guess that there's still that little boy inside me. :)

next week to ride TOT, Mission Space, and most of the others. Miss Vivian says no RRC for her this year. We are mid 50s and love most of the rides.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Uncleromulus.

.

Hope you have a happy birthday, uncleromulus!!!
