How many out there think that once you are booked, you don't receive a PIN?

Seems like once you are booked, you don't receive a PIN...

Seems like people receive PINS after they order DVD "while they are shopping".....

What is the consensus here?

Wondering?????????::confused: :confused: :confused:

got mine AFTER I booked! lol of course.....

booked in February and received pin code by snail mail in January and another one yesterday

We have been going to WDW for 30 years --- we have NEVER gotten any code by email or snail mail!!!:confused3 We have an annual pass so use that for the room discount-- right now we have reservations for August & December using the AAA discount ---- hoping for something better. Wpuld be a wonderful surprise to receive a code of any sort some day!!!!!

We booked last August, then received our PIN in January. Our original reservation included the AAA discount; the 40% PIN saved us much more.

This is our first trip since 1990.

I shopped and booked a December stay. I then changed to October. I then changed that from AAA to Bounceback. This past week I received a discount postcard that ends in September. It has values at $59. I did not call to see what the moderates or deluxes are.

In the past, I've also received PINs after booking and have been able to change my rate. (Still waiting for a PIN for this year's trip though! Not sure if there will be one for my dates in October...)

Gosh, we have never received a pin code and we order a dvd every year. I want to be included:headache:

I called in January to price a vacation for september and the reservationist gave me a code on the phone-saved 40%-i booked 2 rooms-I figure I was planning on spending the money anyway-now we can invite my parents and pay for their room.:thumbsup2

I got a postcard for 40 percent off and booked a trip for OCtober/November, then decided that September worked better so booked a trip for then. I received a pin postcard that wasn't as good. Free dining came out, I booked it. Got another pin for 30 percent off deluxe, but kept free dining. Just got this new one that was 59 dollars a night for a value (don't know what the percent was but at 40 percent off it was 43 a night) and kept my free dining reservation.

Do first timers ever get PINs?

I've signed up for the e-mails...and the planning DVD.

Also, I like in England - will that hinder me?

We got a pin in March, booked the trip and received the dalmation pin via email and snail mail in the past couple of weeks.

We've been going to WDW for 30 years next month, and the only person who has ever received a PIN was my DGD--she was four years old at the time, and just couldn't take the time out from her busy schedule to use it!:rotfl:

We always book our trips through Dreams Unlimited, and so we get any available discounts. It might be nice to be offered a PIN once, though, after more than 100 trips!

I was told by a Disney CM that they could "lose their jobs" if they applied a code without a PIN or email or postcard being sent to guest..

I was told by a CM that they were closely monitored and would loose their jobs if they arbitrarily applied a discount! You got a great deal!!!!!!!!!!!!40% is quite nice!:wizard:

I've been booked since the end of September. I got the code when I ordered the DVD. I just got another code a couple weeks ago for this summer. :confused3

No rhyme or reason to any of it.

I just got off the phone with my best friend and she has never been to wdw but is a member of the movie club and ordered the planning dvd recently and she got the $59/nite code. I think the pins might be related to getting new customers into the world. FOr those of you who have gotten a code after you booked, was it your first trip?

Nope. I've been going at least once a year for 30 years. We've stayed onsite since the early 90's.
