How many one bedrooms at HHI?

Well, I would call MS, but it's the weekend, so maybe someone here can help me?

I'm guessing there are more 2 bedrooms at HHI, but wondering if there are many 1 bedroom units? Also, are mostly all the units walk-up? Are there any buildings with elevators?

We have enough points for 5 nights in a 2 bedroom, but there's only the three of us, so a 1 bedroom will work out fine, and then we can get two trips out of our points.

Just want to make sure they have a supply of 1 bedroom units. Also, we've done studios everytime we go to WDW, since you're at the parks or the pools for so much of the day we dont mind a studio. But we thought we'd need more space at HHI as we might be spending more time in the rooms in the early mornings or evenings.

Thanks for any input!

There are 21 each studios and 1BRs at Hilton Head. Most of them are in the main buildings (16 of each), with the remainder being in the same buildings as the Grand Villas. There are elevators for the main buildings, but you will have to do stairs for the others.

A lot of people prefer the studios and 1BRs in the main buildings because they are quieter than the others; however, they are farther from the pool and community hall, etc.

You will be glad to get the extra room with a 1BR at Hilton Head -- you're right that you will probably spend more time in the villa than you do at WDW. Also, don't be surprised if you cook in a little more than you do at WDW as well. It just doesn't seem like work there! ;)

Just be careful getting a one bedroom if you've always done studios. Our first experience with a 1 BR was at HH. We'd always done studios, figuring "that's plenty-there's 'only' two of us." But we had a few extra points to burn once, so we upgraded to a 1 BR at HH. You really get used to that extra space-two TVs, laundry facilities, full kitchen....Enjoy!

We had a 1 bdrm at HH last Oct. in bldg 16. It was great. It was on the "first floor" which is actually up a flight of stairs. Everything is built up in case of a hurricane.

And as someone else mentioned, it was just more fun to cook there. We're headed back in four weeks, and I've begun to try and figure out how many meals to plan.

Hilton Head is a great place to relax.

Enjoy your trip.
