I was reading the thread about Disney rules (didn't read every single comment, but...) I am surprised how many people always agree with Disney no matter what--ticket pricing, parking fees, ADR bookings, etc.

Don't get me wrong I love Disney, we all do on the DIS, or we wouldn't be on here, right ;) I just think its okay to disagree with some of their decisions. Who's with me? LOL

I don't think Disney is perfect, but when you compare to other places it is quite good...;):)

Yes it's also to disgree but we cannot put ourselves in their postion and understand all the factors that go into their decision. All our comments are based on our own limitied understandings.

Disney is renowed for taking and elvaluating the facts to attempt to make the right decision, but please remember they are a for profit business and that is not always consistent with what the person on vacation is looking for.

They are not always right and when they are not they usually will do what is necessary to correct it.

I do not think they are perfect, but I do think many people don't fully understand Disney's reasoning for doing stuff. They often are looking at it from their own perspective instead of looking at the picture as a whole. As such, I often disagree with people on many things that they think Disney is doing "wrong" because I can fully see the business reasons for it.

A lot of it comes down to how you LOOK at things.

Not to throw anybody under the bus............but maxiesmom does that. Bless her heart, that woman has never heard a complaint about Disney that she deemed valid. Not even trying to attack, it's not necessarily a bad thing. ;)

I don't think anything in life is perfect. Especially not Disney, I do think that Disney try's, but that sometimes their priorities are out of wack. As I mentioned in another thread, I think that the monorails need some major, major work. I understand the need for new attractions, and change, but sometimes you just need to fix and or improve the old stuff.

We've been to a lot of beautiful places for vacation (Jamaica, Cozumel, Bahamas, Grand Cayman, etc.) and we always say the same thing: "Wish we were at Disney instead!"

I don't think its perfect, but its really great. I think this board is a bit more friendly than most disney fan sites. I feel like the Disney fan community can be overly critical. Some of the podcasts sound crazy.

In a 43 sq mi resort everything can't be perfect, but when you compare it to other places it really is in a league of its own.

Heck no Disney is not perfect. I disagree on the black out dates in October and do not think it is fair :rotfl: I also do not think it is fair that some people get promotion pins and some dont :confused3

I don't think Disney is perfect but I do think some of the things people complain about are small and not worth getting worked up about. That tends to be when I defend Disney.

On the DIS: Everyone.:rolleyes2

But, that's okay. If we aren't expected to be perfect, then how can we expect a company made by "us" to be?:confused3

No, it's not perfect. Nothing is! But if I didn't enjoy it and think it was pretty great, would I be wasting my time on an internet forum devoted to it? Of course not! Naturally the enthusiasm for Disney will seem high here, but it doesn't mean anyone thinks Disney is totally without fault.

I don't think Disney is perfect, nor do I forget its a business.

I don't think anyone on these boards thinks Disney is perfect either. Its what you make it. Perspective. Mix the magic with a positive attitude and it works for most.

Then, of course, there are those who just like to argue ;)

I don't think Disney is perfect. But, I chose my battles carefully as far as what to get upset about. It's not like that's going to change anything.

Now, some people tell you to vote with your wallet. Usually I'm all for that. But to me, right now, WDW is still my favorite place to go on vacation. I suppose I've been lucky. I haven't had a crappy trip yet. As a matter of fact, my last one in May was about the best one so far. I'm hoping my December solo trip will be great too.
