How many of you purchase Insurance??

I am cosidering this insurance policy for our next trip in october to Disney. We went in June last year, and did not purchase it. But, this time I am thinking of going with the DDP for our trip, so a package deal. I know they don't let you cancel packages right before you leave without a penalty. Besides, that is also hurricane season, and lots of kids get sick that time of year. Would hate to cancel our trip, but you never know! I would love to hear more feedback on this trip insurance to see if it was worth it to your family or not! Thanks!!!

I've been debating about this too and actually posted it, but on ly got one repley. Glad I found this one!:goodvibes I was talking about it with my sister yesterday, and she said, you have a 2 year old, who could wake up the day we leave sick, so it would be best. And she's right! If it was just DH and I, then I wouldn't worry so much, though with his work we could have to cancel, but that would be more rare! So I think we will. I always think of it as a waste, but I guess if we needed it ,we would be happy.:hippie:

We bought it the first year we went and not the last 5 years since then. The way I reason not buying it is that something really bad is going to have to happen for us not to go to Disney and if it does I am sure I am not going to care about the money I spent then. We already have health insurance and as for the death in dismemberment part. If one of my kids die or lose a limb on a disney ride I am sure they are not going to be like oh well you didn't take out the insurance shame on you.
