HOW Many of YOU are listening to the Disney Meeting in Phila.?

OH how I wish you were all listening. This is so exciting. Michael got a smattering of applause at the beginning of the meeting. About an hour into the meeting he introduced Roy Disney and Stanley Gold, you should have heard the applause!!! They are allowing them to speak for 15 minutes!!!

More applause, Stanley just said, "Even though Disney has had bad years, Michael has never had any!"

Stanley just wrapped up his speech. To a rousing applause. Now Roy is speaking and has said "I hope management wont hold us to the 15 minutes" More applause!!

Because I started listening to this after the meeting started - does anyone know who that woman with the high pitched voice is? She has a little accent - I think her name is Evelyn?

and was so glad to hear the prolonged positive response that Roy and Stanley got!..thanks for posting the link so that those of us who wish to listen could do it!..in answer to the above poster..the lady with the high pitched voice at the meeting..said her name was Evelyn and that she had 80% share?..not sure about that part..but think that's how she started her tirade!..I am sure that all sides have their valid points..but I hope with all my heart that the shareholders believe in the dream that Walt started..and that they vote out Michael and let the campaign that Roy and Stanley have started..to "SAVE DISNEY" takes hold and gains momentum..and that the company goes back to the way it used to be..JMHO!

The woman is a shareholder. They are hearing shareholder opinions on the ballot isses. I couldn't understand her well enough (trying to listen over JoJo's Circus in the background ) to know what they were all laughing about, though Eisner did seem to be trying to get her to stop talking. The applause for Stanley Gold and Roy Disney was great.

Does anyone know what they one guy offered to have Eisner take a copy of that got a big crowd reaction? DD was fussing at that moment and I missed it.

Yea I got in and am finally listening to it. I cannot understand that lady, Evelyn? I have to go to a meeting in 30 minutes. I hope someone will keep me updated and give a review of what happened. Thanks for the link.

tm: The response from the crowd was because he asked Michael if had gotten his proposal via email. Michaels response was "Well, I have gotten alot of mail recently" That got a laugh.

is hilarious..she's talking to Michael and yelled at him to turn around cause she wasn't talking to the back of his head!..lol..the crowd booed..not sure if it was at her or for him!

GO LADY THAT IS SPEAKING NOW!!!! She basically told Eisner to sit down and listen to her by looking at her. WOW

I don't totally agree with her problems but I do like how she told him she didn't feel like she was being listened to.
