How many of you are going to DISNEY for Easter break, and what dates are they? Our Easter break seems to be different from a lot of people, just wondering how crowded the parks will be when we go! Our break is from March 29- April 2, 2010.

I really try hard to avoid the week before Easter and the week after. Even two weeks before or after if I can. This year we are going March 18-24. That is NOT when Easter break is though, the nieces that are coming with us are skipping school.

DD and I (different school districts) both have off the week of March 29.....due to a wedding on Mar, 28, we'll be at BWV March 29 and coming home Apr 1 due to cost of airfare!! Short, but sweet and first time at F&G!

we will be arriving Sunday 3/28 and leaving Fri April 2. I'm hoping the first part of the week won't be bad, but preparing for the lines!

April 1-9. Be prepared for huge, huge, huge crowds (those two Easter weeks and Christmas week are the three most crowded of the year). Also, this is what we call a double whammy year because there a lot of schools that always have their spring break that week that begins in end of March and runs into early April meaning that crowd will run smack into all those who always have spring break the week leading up to Easter.

We arrive Thursday April 1st and are staying at WLV. On Sunday (Easter) we leave for a 4 night Bahamian Cruise on DCL. (Shhhhhh! It's a secret--the kids just think we're going to WDW!) We were at WDW on Good Friday 2 years ago before we boarded the DCL Magic. My advice--EMH! We had a good morning at MK that day--I see this year EMH are at night on Friday. I know it will be busy--we were just there at Christmas though so we're prepared for busy again.

We arrive ON Easter! Our kids have Spring Break the first full week of April every year so this year does not work well for avoiding crowds.

It will be interesting for DH, though. As a child, I went to WDW 4 times over Easter so I am very familiar with the massive crowds. He, OTOH, made his first trip to WDW in February of 2001. He has been there the first week of February, the last week of January, the first week of September and, most recently, the second week of June. This past June was the busiest he's seen it and I really did not think it was all that bad. He is in for a BIG surprise. I will be amazed if he ventures out of the hotel for anything besides meals:lmao:.

Arrive on April 3rd till the 10th staying at aklv been there for Xmas and Easter I think x mas was more crowded but Easter is many many people. Most places will not be able to get in to eat unless you hav ADR happy Easter

Easter break in our town is the week of April 19th. So flying to Boca on the 16th to visit mom and then going to BCV on the 20th for 5 days. I expect major crowds regardless. Then next year Spring Break falls exactly on Easter so we will go in Feb for Presidents day week - cheaper flights and DW has to work on Easter - Nurse in a hospital.

Also booking July 4th and it seems really crowded then too based on the waitlists I'm on. But going to Wet & Wild and Universal (sssssh) then as well as a alternative from the WDW parks. I understand the Universal bus will pick us up in front of BCV.

We must not live very far from each other - West MI. Same spring break here. Next year Easter is April 24 so it should be small crowds. Last year we had SB the week before Easter and I didn't think it was as bad as I thought it would be. We don't go into the parks much so hanging at the pool isn't always too crowded.

I was looking for information on that! We are going in November and hoping to stay at BCV and want to go to Universal for a day. That would be great if there really was a bus pick up there? Where do you look for that info?

:wave2:Hi, Neighbor!

We live in Kentwood...you?

No spring break trip for us until 2014:sad2:, but that is OK because that will fall outside of Premiere season so it works out great.

We're doing a June trip in 2012 (definitely) and a June trip in either 2011 (if we decide to borrow points) or in 2013 (if we decide to bank). The 2012 trip is a gift from my parents. They are paying for our entire clan (all 14 and counting...) to visit WDW for a week. We generally only do one trip a year so we will not be using 2012's points in 2012. We'll either borrow them and take DD6 on a surprise trip for her birthday in 2011, or we will bank them and go in 2013.

My plan is to do a June trip one year and an April trip the next year and then take a year off. That allows us to get the maximum use out of both our 100 points and our AP's.

Zeeland :wave2:

We used to go in March when the kids could miss a week of school, but once they got into HS, we had to start doing SB. DH is too busy in the summer to take vacation, plus it is too nice in MI to leave.

I can't wait. 1 week from today we will be in WDW. :worship:

We'll be at BWV 4/3-4/10. We usually go every year at Spring Break.

Arriving on 3/31 leaving 4/5. The only time all of us could go at the same time. Get in late on 3/31, staying at a Hampton. Then SSR for the balance.

I work for AMR (the ambulance service) out of GR, but I cover the Holland/Zeeland area all the time:laughing:.

Where are you staying next week? Are you flying or driving? Airfare is outrageous, especially out of GR, so we are driving. We arrive on Saturday and the forecast is for a hi of 77 and a 0% chance of rain:banana:. That brightened my day, especially since we are supposed to get down into the teens tonight!

We will be there with the rest of the state of Georgia Easter Sunday-Friday!!! We've done the past three Easters and it's not so bad if you don't plan to ride rides!! The lines are psycho!! But last year we did lots of pools, mini-golf, tours, boat rentals - it was lovely.

We leave Saturday 3/27-4/6.. Our first Easter. I hope we can get in some rides...:lmao: We are mainly going for the weather and some relaxation with some park time.. Nothing commando.
