How many of you already booked for 2012?

Just curious how early people book. I booked in November for our trip this May. I thought that was really early. I am tempted to book for next year, but it does seem kind of early to book.

I was ready to book in March '11 for August '12 but I just made my reservations on Saturday for 7/31 - 8/9/12

i have been ready to book for feb 2012 for a while now..and now that the rates are out, we haven't done anything yet!!! I think I am waiting to see if there are any discounts out, and then decide if maybe we want to wait for the fall if it means I need to save a bit more money. Trip has to be paid in full before we go for me to commit...and right now, its tight based on all the increases (incl my son now being an 'adult' for pricing ! yikes!)

Waiting for the Dec. window to open and then we are in. Skipping this year, just can't fit it in the budget. So DH and I agreed to take a slightly longer trip in 2012 so we have time to save the $$$$!

Hi I just booked June 18-24 at POR in the Royal Theme Room. I wanted to make sure we got what we wanted so I had to book with AAA discount., if a better promotion comes out I will adjust it if I can.

Thats understandable. I booked our first trip with a pin and our second with a bounceback. I am having a hard time booking poly at rack rate. We have ap's and I don't want to wait until March when the Ap discounts are released. One of these days I will have to book. I might have to have a couple of drinks before I do it.

We booked in April for our trip next March. My motivation was to get the cheapest airfare possible, with a flight time that best fit our schedule.

I figure we saved about $500 by booking our flights so early, but it means we are booked for a full rack rate room at the YC. Sooo, now I sit and hope for a discount.

When we went in 2010 I took the same approach and was able to save more than $1000 with a discount, so I'm hopeful that I can do something similar in 2012. And if not... oh well, I'll be happily at WDW.

Haven't booked yet. Still hoping they will announce some discounts for dates throughout all of 2012 by the end of summer like they did last year. If not, I will book at rack rate one year out and hope a deal comes along! I don't think a year out is too early to book a vacation. To me, a year is just about right unless it's a small scale trip.

We were suppose to try something new this year. I failed. We looked into Disney cruise but for 7000.00 we can take 2 trips with air included. So we are thinking of taking a Royal Carribean Dreamworks cruise next year. But we may book Disney if FD comes out early again just to make sure.

We LOVE Royal Caribbean. Have been to Disney 5x over last 8 years and 2 cruises. Our kids' (now 8 & 11) favorite by far is cruising - it's just so much more expensive!

Booked our trip on Monday w/AAA for our trip at the end of July 2012. If a better discount comes out, we're going to switch. When I read the 2012 prices were out already I couldn't resist. We're going to the Poly for the first time. Celebrating our 10 year anniversary with our 3 kids. We love the WL, (that's where we stayed on our honeymoon & our last 3 trips) but our youngest will be 3 1/2 when we go, so now we're a family of 5 in a room. We're actually excited to be forced out otherwise we probably would have never tried a different resort. Can't wait and already have the Disney countdown set on the computer.
