How many of us fly the US flag?

i want to know how many ppl leave theyre flag out at night with no light on it , from what ive read it is a federal offense NOT KIDDING !!!!!

I didn't vote because none seemed to fit.

We flew the American flag every day when we lived in NJ. This started when we bought our home there, long before September 11.

After eight years it had seen better days, and we took it down and gave it to the American Legion for proper destruction while we were getting ready to sell the house.

We aren't flying one here in Florida as we haven't figured out where it would be best suited on our home. We'd really like to fly it in the very front of the house, but want to first get some architectural lighting installed there so we can fly it constantly.

I do have a small flag in a little stand on my desk in the den.

If in the UK you fly our union Jack flag you are accused of racism There was a documented case of this in our newspapers not so long ago as there were many immigrants living in the persons street and they thought he was being racist. Its not the usual thing to do in the UK, and getting arrested for it

Yes, I have a flag pole in the backyard with the American flag on top and the University of Michigan flag under it.

Well, I voted every day, BUT my flag has been stolen--AGAIN!!!! I live on a nice street (believe it or not) and there are about 6 house in a row that fly flags daily--including me. BUT, MINE is the only one that gets stolen!!! This is the 4th flag I have replaced. I don't get it! Obviously its kids or someone who doen't like me for whatever reason, but PLEASE!! So, guess I'll be buying another one!! Maybe I'll put alarms on it this time!!!

My Mom and Dad are both from Italy and we grew up with the flag out on its pole everyday. Dad had lights installed so it can be flown illuminated at night. Both of them are so proud of the fact they are citizans. When we bought our first house my Mom and Dad bought us a flag. We have a flag out all the time unless it is a yucky day.

DH installed a light for our flag. He's a veteran of the first Gulf War - and an electrician.

Me too! There are probably 5 or 6 houses including ours that fly the flag every day. I like to take it in when the weather is bad.

Hey, send him my way!!! Maybe he can rig up some electric current TO my flagpole so they won't steal my flag anymore!!!

We tried to fly a flag, but there is just no good way to mount one on our house.
