How many of the Epcot countries have you been to (real thing?)

And do you find you enjoy the Epcot World Showcase version more after you've seen it/been there?

I've been to Canada, US, Italy, Morocco, France and the UK (and the Germany airport). I will say that the Morocco pavilion in particular transported me right back to the Morocco trip and as a result I love going to it.

I've been to 8.

Mexico
France
United States
United Kingdom
China
Japan
Canada
Germany

We love visiting China and seeing the baby Temple of Heaven. We were reminded of Epcot when we saw it in China and we are reminded of China when we see in it Epcot.

We also love Mitsukoshi in Japan as we remember visiting it in Tokyo ... even though they look NOTHING alike.

I feel the same way! My son, who is way more Epcot-knowledgeable than I am, told me that Morocco is the only pavilion that is actually sponsored by the government (of it's country.) I find that so interesting!

Six. And soon to be seven. Headed to Italy in April.

Mexico
Norway
US
France
UK
Canada

I really enjoy chatting with the students working in the pavilions of countries I've visited. Had some great conversations with the Norway staff at Akershus on our last visit.

UK
Mexico

Love World Showcase, but not even remotely on the same level as the real deal.

I don’t know that I liked them better but it did bring back fun memories. Honestly there are some countries that I’m perfectly happy to stick to the Epcot version but I would like to go to Italy and I wouldn’t say no to Norway but it’s not in my plans. Morocco is not on my radar. If we count festivals I’d rally like to see Australia and Greece. Thinking about Hawaii.

Six. I do think in some ways I enjoy those countries more. There is something about walking down those cobblestone streets that brings me back to the time I spent in London. And similar memories of great vacations in the other pavilions as well.

... Africa (does the outpost count?)

While I don't know if I 'enjoy' them more, I certainly appreciate the authenticity and how they've captured the 'feel' of each country after being at the real thing...

Canada (where I live), the US, Mexico, Italy and France. I've never actually been to World Showcase; to date we've only spent 1 day at Epcot and didn't have time to include it in our visit.

Five here, the U.K., USA, France, Germany, and Italy. They’re not the same as their respective countries at all to be honest - the World Showcase countries are highly idealistic but still such great fun to explore. Being from the U.K., it can be funny visiting the U.K. Pavillion and seeing all the stereotypical British products in the shops.
