We bought three for each boy and the MIL is getting them one each as well. I never thought I would spend that much on Lego.

Got one for my 20 year old son. Was looking for the Lamborghini but it is sold out everywhere. He's gotten a set every year since he was old enough to build.

All my DS (7) asked for was LEGOs. He is getting 3 boxes (Star Wars, Pirates and Lego City). We kept LEGOs in business this Christmas!!

karenos;)

My youngest ds is getting 3 because he doesn't have any sets of his own. My older ds is getting 1 bigger and 1 smaller one. They are both getting another set from a relative.

He already got one the other day from his aunt.. lego city camper.

His grandmother bought him a camper too lol.. gotta return.
His uncle bought him a Lego City bull dozer ( Santa did too UGHH) Gotta return one.

Santa is also bringing him Lego City Police command center and a police car. Space agents watch and two space agents sets.
There is also a space police set too I think and then some litttle car sets I found at Target to put in stocking.

He is also getting Lego rock band for the WII.

We might have a Lego problem!!! lol

The kid is a lego FREAK

OH my Mom bought him a big box of pieces for her house, since he doesnt have any there :rotfl::rotfl:

I forgot about that. We also got them Lego Indiana Jones for the PS3.

This year it's just one of the bigger sets. He's finally starting to ask for other things too... not that it gets any cheaper... :rolleyes1

None this year because we are going to Disney and may buy some there (DS is 13). But a few years ago I think he ended up with 7 or 8 sets after all family gifts. It was all he wanted. I don't think you can ever have too many Legos!

Bewtween Snat and Gma? Probably 15, inc. the big ones. My ds is a legomaniac!

NONE as the one my oldest stepsons wants is over $150 ...:headache:

edited to add: His mom can't even get this one for him...

DS 14 is just getting one this year, but I did buy him one in November. In years past he received many. His favourites are the Bionicles. Lego is the one toy he won't part with, even after he stopped playing with everything else. I personally think they are the best toy ever invented.

It was 3 until the Toy Story ones hit, then it jumped to 8.

When my ds was younger, a good many of his gifts were Legos. He still likes Legos but isn't as into them as he used to be. He's getting one set this year. It's one of the Star Wars sets, but I don't know which one.

I'm hoping to get some of the Toy Story Legos for both kids sometime. I wish those were around years ago! : )

My nephews love Legoes. Since their parents & grandparents get them different Lego sets, I get each of them a year subscription to the Brickmaster Magazine. They really like it. It comes every other month and includes a little Lego toy to build.

My son who just turned 10 just discovered legos. Well, he did have some when he was younger but never got into them. We actually sold them all at a garage sale in 2007!

For his birthday earlier this month, my dd picked out a Lego Creator car set for him. Since then, he's received 3 or 4 other sets...and Agents one, other Creator ones, etc. He has assembled them all.

Santa is bringing the Lego Empire State Building and Lego Seattle Space Needle.

You all aware that you can build quite vicious guns out of legs? Stock, barrel, trigger and everything!

Legos are worth every cotton-picking penny I've ever spent on them. This is the first year I am not buying Legos and I'm a bit sad. DS 14 still builds with them-a lot, but doesn't make the sets-he makes guns-all different models and holds gun building contests on youtube (look up zumiez58). With real working mechanisms, some can shoot rubber bands. He's learned so much from Legos.

Hi! Is the Brickmaster Magazine different from the LegoClub magazine? My DS has the Legoclub subscription?

Thinking ahead to next Christmas! :santa:

DS16 asked for a number of different sets this year, after a couple of years of low interest.
He is getting the Seattle Space Needle and Guggenheim sets from the Architecture series and Darth Vader's Tye Fighter.

3 or 4, can't remember.

But it's nothing compared to his b'day this year, when my SIL gave us a very generous check for him, to be used solely on fun things for him. We were swimming in Legos...
