How many iPods, IPhones and iPads does your home have?

Let's see:

1 Ipad (used often- Husbands)
2 I phones (used often-myself and DD)
2 older Itouches (DH and DS)
2 replacement Nanos (got last year through the recall swap)
1 Ipod Photo- just used as an external hard drive


I have a separate Itunes account than my DD, and DH. I have never run into a device issue.

All on one account so the kids can share music, movies and apps.

I'm thinking of getting Middle DS and DH each an iphone for christmas but I need to see if I can cut my cable bill first.

For everyone with multiple iPhones on one account, how does managing contacts work for each phone?

My DH has never updated his iPhone 4 from ios4. Mine still has ios5. When he tried to sync his phone he got a message saying it was going to delete my contacts. Has anyone ever had a problem or can you tell me how you manage them. TIA

We have two iTunes accounts. I have one and add anything ds wants to it.
DD 15 uses her own.

In short, yes. the devices can only be linked with one iTunes account at a time. But you can share the music movies etc between the computers that you have your separate accounts on. All you need to do is turn in home sharing between the two computers. My husband and I do this.

I have two iTunes accounts on my iPad. A Canadian iTunes account and a US iTunes account. One doesn't delete the other's apps but I have to be careful when I update apps which account I am signed into. I've heard that it will buy it again if you try to update it from the other account.
